Window Screen Replacement Highlights

Just did this last week. The big box store had a "kit" that included the screen, piping, and a tool for the same price as a roll of screeing and the piping if bought separately. Turns out the new piping wss the smaller of the "standard" sizes, so mine was not quite as tight in the groove as I would have liked, but seems to be holding for now. As an aside. I picked up a 3 x 100 foot roll of aluminum screening at a yard sale a few weeks back for only $ 2.50 that may get cut into strips and become radials in the future...73.

And I thought this was going to be another "Window Screen as Radials" video. 🙄 Good info. Reminds me that I have several screens I need to tackle.

Great video. Was the old screen Aluminum? If so I guess it makes a good ground plane for an antenna.
