from last 2 days i was looking for a solution and you made it so simple and easy for me. I have never ever written message to anyone but I thank you for your superb explanation. God bless you
This solved my installation issue quickly and was easy to perform. Thank goodness I had already backed up all of the information on my hard drive first. Thank you for a very relevant RU-vid tutorial!
Very helpful video, thank you for the clear instructions. I was attempting to update a Dell laptop with a new HDD and a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro. Kept getting the "load drivers" error and could not get past it until I watched this video and paid careful attention. Who would have ever guessed by the cryptic Microsoft error message that the target hard drive is simply not yet partitioned or formatted. Once that's done, it works like a charm! Thank you!
Cheers for the tip. I had the problem with my laptop, but after removing the HDD and treating it like a USB with your instructions, the laptop found it after re-inserting and is now installing Windows. Thanks again
CD/DVD install of Windows 7 on RAID Sata drives failed, but now are working.: Thanks, your video was most helpful. When I did "diskpart" to "list disk" I had not disks displayed. This told me that I needed to install a driver in order for the OS and HW to communicate. I went to the vendor site, downloaded the SATA drivers for the motherboard that I have, extracted the iaStor"X"-64 files to USB. I rebooted, went into the BIOS, changed from BIO to UEFI for the better 64bit drivers, saved and allowed Window to install. I got the same error, however I pointed to the drivers on the USB drive by hitting "browse" . The drivers were loaded and the Windows install continued to completion. Thanks again for pointing out how to use Disk Partition as a tool.
I was working with forensic software and managed to kill my mbr... Actually.. After i tried to reinstall everything on the disk for the last 4 hours and being convinced that i may had changed some bytes on the ssd firmware by mistake (and probably have rendered it as a brik), thats when i have seen your video. I was already in bed at 4 am .. and by accident i stumbled upon your video... Holly crap!!! I coudnt sleep anymore... I had to test this.. And.. Uh... It actually worked!!! Who whould have guessed!?!? You got a new subscriber .. This is a good tip indid!! In all my IT experience i would NEVER guessed it!! Good job !!! Good job indid!!!
Hello McOsifys, You saved my day. I was scratching my head as to how to format my primary drive as Windows would not allow me to do it. Thanks. from Ean Aw ( NZ) DownUnder in Godzone 17/12/15
omg, Bro. Thank you so much. I thought I was fucked when I saw that message come up after an hour of searching on youtube, Your video was the most helpful and succeeded for me to bypass that awful message. Thanks mate.
WORKED 100% after spending hours upon hours on Dell website, on google and RU-vid. Even tried this video about 8 times and it didn't work then by accident, I open Command Prompt then remembered to move the USB drive and it worked. My drive finally showed up along with the USB, and I was able to install Windows 10. Thanks Bro. :-)
Thanks a lot mate!!!! Worked perfectly. It is worth noting that it only worked when I used first the USB 3 and then the USB 2 as you kindly explained. My first try I didn't realize that I changed form USB 3 to USB 3 and didnt worked at all.... So again thanks a lot mate!!!
omgosh..... after fighting with my computer i made from scratch the only thing i didnt buy new was the hard drive.... so after about 6hours trying to get windows to install playing around with all the boot setting and geting no were ... all it took was this 4min video to format my drive thanks :)
thank you very much I just like to add if your method is not working its because an incompatible drive is interfering. I removed my new burner and then your commands worked perfectly
Thx dude ! My problem is solved. The issue was that My disk was parted and none of them was the principal one, so it wasnt able to find anything anywhere. thx again, love guy !
I just installed android os and it was successful after 2-3 days it told that clean the disk I clicked on it and suddenly all disk drivers disappeared after that when I restarted the pc it can't start after seeing this video I can repair the pic.. Thank You
I have Intel 300 chipset, which didn't make sata driver for Windows 7. Instead of USB install, I'm installing from partition and it's working! If you have a big enough Drive, make a 30 to 50 gigabyte partition that Boots the install, then install to the unallocated space, and once Windows is up, erase the setup partition and expand. What a pain in the ass and modern times but at least I don't have Windows 10 anymore!
Thi worked! Thanks. Had a few typo’s on my part. You may have to us help and listen carefully to instructions. When using the format command, I kept using the - key instead of the =ntfs. All’s well that ends well thanks!
yo thank you very much for the help. i promised my self after i installed and fixed my computer i would come and comment just to thank you. thanks again
if anyone is having trouble, try going into your BIOS. I found a setting that made every port USB 3.0. I set it to "auto" instead of "enabled" and it fixed this problem for me.
