How to Fix A Required CD/DVD Drive Device Driver is Missing during Installing Windows 7

Hi guys, here I showed up how to fix A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing during installing Windows 7.
May be, sometimes you are facing this problem while installing Windows 7 on a new generation computer. Such as,
A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
Note: If Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step.
Basically, this problem occurred because when the USB drive is not recognized by Windows PE, I mean Windows Preinstallation Environment. Windows PE is built on Windows 7 kernel and which is used to initialize a computer for Windows installation. Note: if the USB device drive is not recognized by Windows PE, then you may encounter with this problem and you cannot install the operating system by using USB. And one more thing, if you have new generation computer then probably this problem may occur, because new generation computers are best for Windows 10 and above higher version of Windows 10 that’s why windows 8.1 and windows 7 is not fully supported in some new generation computers, which happened in my case.
Whatever the issue, don’t worry about it, here I will show you two best solutions that will definitely help you to solve this problem.

after 6 or 7 years i finally found this solution and this is happen accindentally LOL. i usally using a cd or dvd rom to fix this issue. sorry for may bat english! God Bless you!

My computer errors out trying to run the program - is there a way that I can just get the drivers in a folder, and when the install stops to ask for them, point it to that directory. This can be done with an intel processor - how can i do it with my AMD processor?

Thanks for this. But fyi Intel seem to have removed the Downloads you point to in "Method #2". If you look at the video at about 07:25 the first two hits are the ones you are referring to. If I do that same search today those two hits do not come up. The third hit ("...USB extensible...") does contain Device drivers, but do not fix the problem. I have searched on other Tech info pages and quite a few of them which seem to reference your Method #2 driver downloads end up with a dead link screen on Intel's site. So I need to keep digging - unless someone has a legacy copy of the download (I am after the Win 7 32bit version). But keep up the good work anyway!!

Sir it's still not working from the first step and the new driver is not supporting this problem is in windows 10 and want to boot windows 11 but it is showing same problem Every time tried all updating driver and also uninstalling and installing and also tried rapid technology drivers but still it's not working please help sir

If u write the windows from a usb 3.0 and you will try to boot from 3.0 you will get the error, boot from 2.0 and it will work....

This didn't work. I have literally tried every single method on my laptop and nothing works. I'm still getting the install cd/DVD drivers popup. Nothing will make it go away and let it install. I guess I wasted my money buying a windows 7 image and key

Here is the answer to all your problems installing Windows 7. Windows 7 will not be supported anymore by Microsoft just like Windows XP before. And newly released cpu's and motherboards also do not allow Windows 7 installation. Most probabaly you will get a BSOD or blue screen error message. To solve your problem, install Windows 10.
