I feel like the scammer was already having a moral dilemma being in the scamming industry... but this shit just brought him to a next level low... he's like jesus christ I'm co-signing on burglary now ? what am I doing with my life...

My grandma dealt with a scammer once. She pretended to not know how her computer worked, so she had to spend a few minutes searching for her son before realizing he wasn't there. Afterwords, the scammer explained (I think it took a while since she still acted like a clueless old person) how to start her computer up... Which was a Mac! Honestly, knowing her, she sat in her chair during the whole call. The irony in this was that she owned a Windows computer at the time, so the scammer HAD called someone they could scam. They just didn't know my grandma is a very intelligent person and knows that Windows wouldn't call her home phone if there was an issue

I got a call once. Went something a long the lines of.. "Hello sir, how are you?" Me. "I'm fine" OK, good. I am calling from blank. We are calling you because we have detected malicious software on your computer" or something like that, I wasn't paying attention. Me. "I run Linux" *Dial tone*

Really enjoyed that one. I too love to waste their time making them repeat things or say i need to get a pen and paper. Then about one minute into the call i play a mobile ring tone on my screen and say i really need to take this call as it is my Probation Officer making sure i am staying within the guidelines for my early release murder charge. Then when talking to them after another minute i play a doorbell sound and say my wife is expecting a very important parcel which i need to sign for. If the caller wants me to pay on a debit card i have 3-4 made up cards which never go through and blame it on my wife overspending so then say i will get my Barclaycard and again just make up the number. When that does not go through i just say oh we will have to leave it but thanks for calling as it was really nice to speak to you because when i was in prison you never knew who you were speaking to. This is when they hang up but not before i have wasted around 15 minutes of their time. Just keep them on the line as long as you can just stringing them along.
