I don't know if the card number you were giving him was real or fake but if it was fake you should have gave him the one last number at the end, I think he would have been even more annoyed if he went through all this to find out the number doesn't even work.
These scammers believe in karma a lot of the time, which is why I think they can justify doing this to people. They think they are better and we are scum and get anything that we deserve. They probably dehumanized us in their minds somehow. Thats what believing in Karma does, leaves no room for kindness, mercy, grace etc because anything bad that happens is just that persons “karma” levelling out or some stupid shit like that. Therefore I think it would be a good tactic to somehow turn the concept on karma back around on them.
I annoyed one of these guys in the exact style, except I used the Archer-inspired response after he said, "N as in Nancy". I said, "Okay. M as in Mancy. Got it." That ended the call, and I hope he concluded that call with a bang too!
I came up with the best solution to these free cruise scam calls. Talk to them until they talk themselves down to the cruise is free just pay taxes then tell them great it’s really free because I am American Indian I don’t pay taxes and they don’t know what to say or do then they still try to get a credit card to have on file for the “free flights” but I just say I work for an airline so I fly for free. Then after they have nothing to say they ask for an email address so they can contact you because nobody has ever said this stuff to them so they probably wanna figure something out to get ur card number and I give them a really foul email addy then they know I’m fucking with them and I say I kept u on the phone for 1 hour that’s one hour u didn’t scan someone.
