Intel Has "not been so" well

Thanks for demonstrating how bad the haswell issues really are, I've been told about them but haven't seen them before. I hear Alderlake fixes the issues with Vista so clearly something about the biglittle architecture made intel fix something that they probably didn't even know was broken because by the time haswell was released, Vista was pretty much dead.

Cool video. I did this about a year ago on a ThinkPad T440P and the experience was horrible honestly. It went much smoother for you. I had to do a dism /apply image to get Vista to even boot on it.

Great video Bob! Were the problems mostly from Haswell being newer than Windows Vista and/or not having much support?

Does that Snappy Driver have USB 3.0 support? I got an ASRock Z97 Extreme 6 motherboard and it doesn't have any rear USB 2.0 ports, just multiple 3.0's that don't respond. Only USB that works is one for my front USB header connector for the front of my case. Sucks because I have to keep switching back and forth between my mouse and keyboard as im stuck with that one front single USB 2.0 port.

I am sure this is exclusive to Haswell because I tried Vista on my broadwell laptop last year and it works no issues. And I also see your vid where you install Windows Vista on Intel 10th Gen and it works. You can try it at your own if you use Intel 5th gen or new but I still recommend you go for Intel 3rd gen and older because the drivers will be a issue

Vista on Haswell is kinda of painful experience but as if I'm right, Windows 7 build 6519 fixes this issue which is a feature called "drift correction" and maybe you could try it.

will this work in 11th gen? or will these problems still arise

This is what I needed considering that I have a 4th Gen i7 (i7-4510U), and really did not want to use Windows Vista on a VM, and if I installed it on my PC I really wanted Aero (which VMware does not have using the 11 drivers since they don't have new ones). Edit: Can you please give the files to get the 6003 update.

Vista was bad for the majority of users stuck with lower end hardware.
