I have a deep fryer at home but I’m on a job site 90 miles away this week. I brought my toaster oven/air fryer with me. Thank you for the helpful tips. This was the first video of yours that I have seen. Liked & subscribed. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
I really don’t plan on buying any air fryer/oven but I appreciate you going into detail about everything and all the recipes. I can tell you have a passion for it. Keep it up man!
You caused me to buy my first toaster oven combo. I decided on the Toshiba Air Fryer Toaster Oven 13 in 1 Convection Oven. I'm still waiting on shipping, but I was very reluctant to buy one (toaster oven) because I have a multifunction microwave that has the air fry/convection/broil jive. So, yeah, I blew a few coins on something I most likely will not need but your videos were compelling and I got drawn into the fold like every other viewer I suppose.
Sooooooooo refreshing to see you use an "Oven" type air-fyer. 🤗 🤜🏾👍🏾 Too many videos on RU-vid with peeps using those dreaded "Basket" contraptions. 🤢🤮
To get the full effect of air frying, with even cooking all around, I’d put the drip pan on the bottom rack and the air fryer basket on the top rack or second. Putting the basket right on a pan blocks the convection and basically just bakes the bottom of the food. Thank you for what you do! I enjoy your channel.
Good morning Darnell, quick question. How is the frozen button used on the Cuisinart Model TOA-95. I have some empanadas (frozen) but I forgot to egg wash them. Wondering if I need to first thaw them out and brush them with the egg wash or can I put the egg wash on them frozen? Whats your take? Thanks for responding
@@WaveOvenRecipes I am sorry that I did not see your site before buying. I noticed you gave the Ninja Foodi thumbs up. I probably would have bought that one. Thank you for responding. Also, here is what happened. So, I opted for NOT brushing with egg wash in order for it not to splash and make more for me to clean up. Instead I went straight to the airfry at 450 for 20 mintues. I used a parchment paper. The top cooked well and browned, but the bottom, I had to turn over and instead used the baked function for another 20 min and that came out better. In the future, I will not freeze my empanadas and I will use the bake or roast function.
