Robert next time Winnebago asks "what you want to drive" please please please for the love of the show, tell them you want a Winnebago View. You deserve it and so do we😊
The mother ship! That is awesome! By the way, you have a voice that is amazing and perfect for this work! I like to watch your videos over and over and listen while I get lost in the beautiful scenery, which is better in your videos because you always add interesting and useful information about the area, accommodations, local history and so much more!! Thanks Robert!!!
A great video for anyone considering a smaller travel trailer. Winnebago is lucky to have Robert as a Brand Ambassador! He has been one for years unofficially. Finally he’s been compensated for all of the free promotional work that he’s done.
After watching several of your videos, we just purchased a new 2108DS. Going out tomorrow for our first ever camping trip. Can’t thank you enough for sharing your experiences with everyone.
Maureen Burger We literally just go back home. Everything was great! First time my wife has ever been. We really like this model. My wife picked it out because she wanted a slide out dinette. The mattress will probably get upgraded but the second night was much more comfortable than the first. We got the Murphy bed so we could have a sofa during the day. We had lots of rain the first day but everything worked perfect and no leaks. The bathroom is actually large enough to use comfortably. We are an older couple so it is a little more trouble climbing in and out but certainly doable. Pulls great with my Nissan Frontier but I will probably move up to a full size soon. Hope this helps.
Love the fold down beds, nice and handy. Next time the A/C gives problems, you'll have to break out a big rubber mallet from the "drawer of mysteries" and show the control panel who's boss.
Robert-after viewing your micro minnie reviews we bought a 2019 1700bh. Have to tell you we don't hate the water heater it came with but then again we don't use that much hot water. Love this trailer-just last summer we went from MS to Oregon to NY and points between!! All with two children atow and Shihtzu!
Loved your tour of the Micro. We are buying one soon as I retire for 3 reasons double axel 7ft wide walkable roof. Also weight and length. Several good floor plans Worth the high dollar!
You have come a long way Bob! I was your first subscriber way back in the 2000s when you did your Penguin Humping video, and look at you now! Onward and Upward!
Your presentation Winnebago 2021Micro Minnies show in Indiana is indeed better than the large scale RV show, keep up good work, brother Robert be on guard Stay Safe.
They look awesome! Love the colors! Looking forward to the next video Robert! Thanks for sharing! I thought about you today as I drove past the Red Coconut! 🤙
Thanks so much for this video. A few things I like..The ducted AC , the light in the fridge..I own a a 2018 Winniw Drop170s and I love it..I might want to upgrade in a year or so. The lighter interior is great also..I also upgraded my fan and put in 2 propane tanks.. I want solar too..
I would love to have you keep in touch and let me know what you think and what you with storage and accessories. My husband and I are considering buying a 2108DS.
@@maureenburger9121 we will not receive until Spring time. But, yes. I can give you feedback if you like. They did change the murphy bed fir 2021 to be more flush when in. Before it was ar an angle. And there is now a pocket door on the bathroom. We are very excited. Did alot of research. And we think this model will be perfect for us.
HI Robert we have a fifteen year old Monaco Monarch that only has a microwave convection oven and we HAVE not missed an oven at all. We have cooked everything from prime rib to cookies in the micro/con oven and the extra storage space is well worth it.
Thank you, Robert! Yes, we need the dry hitch weight! Would like to hear more tech details on wheels, tires, brakes and suspensions. Will watch next video about bigger units.
At 4:00 you missed a benefit to that type of table. If you work on a laptop or computer often it helps to have a slightly lower “typing height” desk. You can lower these types of tables an inch or two, which makes all the difference in the world. It’s a really BIG plus if you type a lot.
I highly recommend murphy beds. We are interested in Winnebago but still like our Surveyor 200 MBLE better for several reasons. thanks so much for doing this Robert! Looking forward to seeing all the videos. We are interested in a small Class C.
Hi Robert, You were 9 miles from the headquarters of Winnebago Industries when you were traveling North on Interstate 35 in North Iowa on your way to St. Paul. It is located in Forest City, Iowa. They would have treated you like a King and it would have been a great episode.
I’m considering a WB mainly because of the way you have run those campers everywhere and mini tini 1 is still able to be pulled. I wouldn’t need that kind of wear and tear even close to!! I’m going to see how Mini Tini 3 does I want about that size so I look forward to updates let us know how the slide does leaks and all that please and thank you!
Robert ...Winnebago makes a good solid unit. I'm glad you are their ambassador they win with you on board. Yes make them put struts on the cabinets above the bed. (all doors that open in the up position) You would have to be an octopus to put clothing up there. LOL Be careful not to fold small children up in the Murphy Bed. I like the new 12V compressor fridge. A?C will be the next item that will need an improvement. But the ducted systems are a step in the right direction.
I really like the 2108DS. But not sure about the Murphy bed though. So I might go for the larger 2225RL with the rear dining. Love the large window area!
Wife and I just purchased the 2108tb. We liked the layout and king bed convertible. A little concerned about some of the neg reviews and q.c. problems.
Wish you would have showed the table setup on these folding couches. I would leave my table up all the time. I would be very interested. I would want an oven. Forget the microwave give me more storage.
Hello Traveling Robert. Thank you for the review of the Winnebago 2021 Micro Minnie lineup. I enjoyed your video along with the others you create. I am currently the owner of a 2021 Winnebago Micro Mini model 2306 BHS. My unit is around 25 feet and sleeps 5 people with a murphy bed. I noticed in this video that my model was not reviewed. I was wondering if this was an oversite or Winnebago did not have a 2306 BHS for you to review. In all fairness, you did say before your video ended that there was one last Micro Mini (almost 30 feet) that you would be reviewing in a future video. I was wondering if that review was on the 2306 BHS. Thanks again for all the great videos. Safe travels always. Hope to see you on the road one day.
What size truck do you pull your trailer with and what size is it? I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD mid size I think it said it will pull 6200 or 6500 Lb thinking about getting one
#164 Good morning, Robert. Stay with the towing units, stay away from the motor homes. Too many things go wrong with them in quality control and research.
Probably the biggest gripe on this latest iteration is the cabinet and drawer handles - those sharp edges will be super painful when you run into them! At least that's easy to fix after market. Otherwise lots of nice stuff - the pull-out head on the kitchen sink (and the bigger sink itself) will be really helpful for washing dishes. I'm not sure about the new Murphy bed setup - the fact that it uses a specialized split mattress means you can't change that out if you wanted to.
Robert I think you missed the biggest upgrade... the changed to DEXSTER torsion axle system..with I think EZ Lube also...can you confirm I am given to understand that is a big quality upgrade suspension
I have a question, are the models with the slides built on the 7 foot wide chassis? That would be epic! I think I'd have some issues in some of those showers... 🥴 Looking forward to the rest of the show! Bill
We ordered a 2021 2108DS (dinette slide out) with just the 15K BTU AC option. Waited two months for delivery and it shows up at the dealer with the jackknife sofa option. Shame on Winnebago for using the same model number for different interior layouts. Every floorplan of the 2108DS shows a dinette. The unit we received should be called a 2108SS (sofa slide out).
I don't have any experience myself, but it seems like a murphy bed with a dinette would be the best of all worlds for a small couples trailer. The murphy bed plus a sofa seems a little redundant.
Why does the 2108DS in your video have a sofa when the 2108DS has a dinette (according to all the brochures). The 2106DS has the sofa. Can you clarrify this?
@@TravelingRobert Thanks, I was confused because the brochure always shows the 2108DS with the dinette. We did not specify the sofa option when we ordered so hopefully it will be delivered with the dinette.
Hey Robert, we are about to get a Micro Minnie. I am plan to call the Winnebago towable mothership in Middlebury to get a quote from them. Are we able to buy an RV directly from them, correct? Please let me know. Thanks so much! :) See you on the road!
So many other manufacturers have found ways to put the TVs in an acceptable line-of-sight location with similar sized trailers compared to Winnebago. I don't understand why W insists in placing TVs to the SIDE of the seating area (dinette, sofa, etc.) The one in the 1801 that @Traveling Robert referenced can't even be viewed from the sofa!! Come on Winnebago!! You do so many other things right. Change the TV location already!
Love the bunk model. The only problem; dinette size. Perhaps it'll seat two adults and tiny children. Just guessing based on what I could see in video. We have an older toyota class c rv with a small dinnette like that and when the kids were small, we could all eat at it. Once they got a wee bit bigger, we found ourselves having to find other places to sit and eat. Often - outside. If only it, (table/seats), expanded outward a bit somehow? Anyway, that said, a trailer like this is just the thing for some families. Cheers.
I am very disappointed that Winnebago reduced GVWR for all Micro Minnie models. Well to be accurate - for all but 1700bh. For 1700bh it was increased, which is great.
