The silent woodsman! That was strangely mesmerising mate! Words were not needed! Nice joinery there on the saw horse and the clever ‘no spin’ spit, oh and the door! Lovely video as always mate! 😁👍🔥
Once again, you've produced an outstanding video. I've been "bushcrafting" for longer than it's been called bushcrafting - over 60 years. I'm retired now and find myself watching a lot of You Tube. There really isn't a lot of anything "new", but occasionally, I come across videos that are far above the rest in terms of quality photography, videography, and editing, and yours always fall in that category. Nice work, Andy!
Once in a while a guy comes along who is taking this playing in the woods seriously. This is that guy. He could probably take care of himself and his family, maybe a few more. He has skills. Texas
If ignorance is currency Andy you've a lot millionaires following you ! Great video of you doing what you love best and, like those that have commented before, some vlogs need no commentary . Keep them coming matey. Thanks for sharing.
People, please calm down about the poor guy not talking in this one. If you all watch closely he's working his azz off and clearly has a lot to think, plan and execute. Do none of you get distracted from what you were doing if you have to stop to talk to someone? If he was talking us through everything I can guarantee you he wouldn't have had half the work done that he did. The dude works full time, friends, family, life. I'm sure when he gets chance to go to his peaceful spot he wants to get stuff done. Yeah I enjoy him talking to us to but this is one video out of a lot where he is just getting on with what he has to do and enjoying his time. Besides he might not have felt like talking. Andy, great wood working skills with minimum tools brother. Shelter is looking awesome. Enjoy our early spring friend.
Fantastic video Andy! I apologize for the negative comments that were mentioned regarding the no commentary. I enjoyed it very much and I liked that you took a different approach with this video. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
Nice to see a video that is just what it is, a solo camp, no need for jive talk, just getting on with some relaxing and building.... great work Andy, looking forward to the next one
Great video again Andy and although I do prefer it when you talk in your video's I do like the way you captured what it's like on a solo camp because obviously when on your own you have no one to talk to although we do sometimes talk to our selfs 😂😁👍
Oh dear, you humans, taken out of the ' norm' , out of the comfort zone , a little change and everyone is up in arms, even to the point of bickering!. There's no need. A change, a bit of calm, hearing the birds singing, the fire crackling, bit of a chill time, does everyone good now and again.
Absolutely nailed it again Andy! This video in my opinion is simply perfect. As always, thanks for sharing mate. Looking forward to your next outing. Take care, Steve. 👍👍
Just breezes in, does his thing for 26 minutes (clearly a LOT of stuff besides) and breezes out again! Narry a word spoken and I still watched, uninterrupted for the whole time! Andy, you’re a class act. But on balance I do prefer it when you give explanations or just general fireside chat. Keep up the good work.....
When I first saw Rune Malte Bertram- Nielsen it was like " wow, beautiful no talking just the sound of nature and a man working to find shelter"...I loved it and obviously I wasn' t the only one. BUT that doesn' t mean, that I want you all acting the same way, doing the same things...in this case doing it all like Rune! I REALLY MISS YOU TALKING TO US ANDY!!! I like the way you're explaining and joking, just being you! I like you and your channel just as it is, really it is allways so much fun to watch your videos! I like Runes videos as well, don't get me wrong, but I like the more easy going way of your videos and the fact that you make me laugh and that you do history videos, (wich I love by the way), as well!!! I just want you to know that you did it all right and if you feel the need for change, it should be because of you, not because of Rune....so no offense... Love and peace
Hey Bee.. It didn't go as planned so to speak on this one.. camera / tripod fail etc and I didn't have many talky bits so I just made it a silent one in the end haha.. don't worry.. sure I won't shut up on the next one lol
Hi Andy and thank god for you and your top beard. Watching this at 20 past 8 on the 5 sept and I simply cant take any more Brexit. You sir are a breath of very welcome fresh air. Many thanks.
yep.. i have days like that.. just can't be bothered talking and just want to get my stuff done. :) some great work there.. really enjoyed guessing wha you were upto!
I really enjoy your vids, you work so impeccably. Nice neat joints, good knife skills and tidy saw cuts. Very concise and No spoken words needed. Cheers!
Not a fan of the no talking, but the video was as excellent as always! I really like your talking, always learning something! I’m binging while recovering from a cold!
Great footage man you know how yo do it. Now that's my kind if relaxation. Loved the quiet and solitude. Great outdoors video and keep them coming buddy. Have a great week for me. I'll be posting one of my outdoor trips like this pretty soon. You inspired me.👍
Hello Andy. Well, that was different :) Personally not a big fan of silent videos, but it's good to experiment new things to see how your subscribers will react to changes. Looks to me like half of us liked the format, 49% didn't and 1% don't have enough brains to built a constructive comments. They just hated the video and now they hate you for this horrible crime. Keep'em coming ! Whatever the format, there's always something worth watching :)
Truly excellent all the way through. Really enjoyed that more than many or most from any other channels of late. Great production values as ever, and then some.
Just recently started watching your content and subscribed. Another brilliant piece of film. Great photography, picture composition, editing and a very balanced soundtrack. And I haven’t started on the content! What i see is a man at peace with his surroundings, almost Zen like. Excellent. Keep it up. I don’t get out to the woods as often as I’d like but when i do, i love it. I tuned in looking to add a wild cooking element to our ‘Whiskey Walks’ and certainly found some inspiration. Bushcraft is all I watch now on RU-vid. I’m soo jealous of you guys/gals that can manage to get out.
Awesome new camp improvements, and another Fantastic looking meal. Thanks for sharing Andy, as I am stuck in the house for another 3 months recovering from another back surgery. ATB Von
My friend if you ever want to take a trip over here to the states, you have a place here to hang out, I'm in the Colorado rockies at 10,000ft and we have thousands of acres of heavy forrest to play in, just sayin, food for thought......Oh and a suggestion, get yourself a old fasion hand drill with two sizes of auger bits and start using dowels for your joints, easy to carry the drill and make your dowels onsite, makes way stronger joins that last longer.
