Best way to learn is get out there and do it, and then try to go with someone. Asking on a forum is pointless as you get the fan boys and the guys that have a mate who has a mate who had a Daiwa that when he drove his car over it, started making a noise so all Daiwas are crap. 😂
Cheers pal! It’s quite close to me so I’m gonna start spending a bit of time there while the Caravans closed might get back there 28th fingers crossed with a few friends 👌🏻
Rant was more fact fella,. We all learned at some point, just like driving a car. Why people are so negative, it's catch at all costs these days. Trouble is people don't learn the trade and watercraft like back in my day. It's all instant now just add a grand and your famous??? We can all use technology to our advantage, but you need to know the old ways as well. Makes you rounded and covers all bases.
1000 percent true mate! One thing that’s been great about having my own peg at the caravan is it’s be amazing to watch the same bit of water change through the seasons for the last couple of years. I know for a fact that I won’t catch constantly till a certain point in the year, I have to go and find the fish. It’s been great to watch them patrol the water, you learn which ones art interested and which are looking to feed by their behaviour. My favourite thing about carp fishing is watching. Can’t beat having a tree to climb. It’s amazing how much carp are such creatures of habit isn’t it.
@@CaravanCarpers it is fella. true hunters watch their quarry. It's not like shooting fish in a barrel so to speak. Must admit i try and stay out the way, find big waters where you can merge into the landscape. each to their own and not all are fortunate to be able to do that. All I'd say is wearing Camou on a concrete wall, doesn't make you carpy? Or indeed an angler. Like the porn stars say "its the last 6inches that counts, and where you put it" LOL.
@@ItsOnlyCarpingChris Id love to have the time to do as you say but real life gets in the way family and work gets in the way for me. Reason we have the van really I get to do somthing I love while balancing that. I used to match fish 2-4 times a week and it was getting to a point where I was competing and winning decent enough money but I had to make a choice family or a hobby as it was becoming an obsession. Lmao carpy not somthing I really care about I’m not arsed how level my rods are or any of than shite. I wear them ridiculous cammo pants because they are double lined that’s all that matters to me as they are nice and warm but they are bloody daft 😂.
