Ah, and once again your joy and peace in being out in the wilds looking at beautiful light shines through, and transfers itself to all us people watching. Your choice of music in your edits really sets the tone. Also your body language, which is relaxed, calm, with a quiet excitement. This goes out into the world, and changes everyone who experiences it. You are making the world a better place, helping us all value the joy of a quiet day outside in the fresh air.
Thomas, your afternoon panorama is easily one of my favourites! With the light on the hills, moody sky above and the grove of trees in the right third of the frame - tied together with the band of light running across it all in the valley. I don't know how it can get any better. Your patience really paid off! Fantastic!
Hi Thomas, another great vid! The perfect mix of explaining what you're doing, with showing the results. I really enjoy hearing you talk about what you're thinking as you're out shooting.
To my eye, the first composition is not cluttered, and it is actually my favorite of the three due to the wonderful light and colors of that shot. Well done, and thanks.
Just wonderful, Thomas. Congratulations on making the most of your locations. Your photographs are more beautiful than the place itself! At some point, could you take a moment and explain your love of the square crop? Stay warm, well and safe! And thanks!
I use your videos as meditation to calm down every night. Your voice and the music is a God-send. But yes, I'm also a photographer and love your videos.
I love watching your video because you are so natural and you explain every thing as you are doing the video. The only thing I have to complain about is yours images are just so stunning when I compare them with the images I have taken it makes you wont to give up photography.
Your images are just amazing. And of course it helps that you have amazing scenery to go visit and find those scenes that are perfect for a photo, but it takes that creative eye to see what's there and know how to use the equipment you have to make the shot work.
I found your comment about feeling a little disappointed at the end of your day very interesting - especially since it was a day of such beautiful images. There is a lesson there for all us artists, about how our ideas of what we want, our dreams of how things will be, can become our greatest source of suffering. I can also see that you managed to really enjoy your day and make some stunning photos, so you didn't let your per-conceived ideas get in the way of the joy and beauty available in the actual experience. Thanks for sharing your journey!
The little island in the lake was simply stunning. Great eye to see that it need a longer exposure for the water. Silky smooth and spot on perfect. I love your vids; very inspiring and I cant thank you enough for taking the time to have us all along with you via this platform. Many thanks.
Epic footage man, the obvious afford and professionality makes watching this video really laidback and joyfull! been watching this channel so much, sometimes when i see a beautifull landscape i can hear the music played in thoses videos, aww man!
As always, a beautiful video. I sure do miss snow (being as I live in southern California and my day job keep me in its hot & dry regions). Very appropriate choice of minimalist music to fit your minimalist photo agenda. Great drone shots as well! You always inspire me!
Excellent Video Thomas , lovely images . I really like the Pano and I think you should frame and put that one on you wall . Looking forward to your next video , all the best Paul Moss
I love the fact that you are finally getting more in to panoramas. Maybe next step could be multirow panos to get wide field of view but still get the compression of long lens.
Hi Tom. Best video in a while! All the others have been great too but this one is what it's all about. Thank you for your efforts in making these for us. Brilliant.
Love it, as always! A bit excited by your van. Planning on buying and renovating a van this year so I can get out and shoot landscapes further afield. Would love to see more of your set-up; i.e., hints and tips on creating a travelling space with landscape photography as its key purpose. Hope that makes sense 😁 Anyway, stunning photography, as always - that first image is just exquisite. I'm pretty sure you're one of the best landscape photographers in the world right now, and you're definitely one of my absolute favourite RU-vidrs. Thanks for all your work.
Hi there - another excellent video. Always enjoy watching you work and as fellow campervanners it is really interesting to see where your travels take you. We have had our van for a few years and have now ventured onto youtube so we can share our adventures as well ( still early days and learning more about this photography and videoing stuff!) Keep the great content coming.
"Nice little image" -> understatement of the century. IMO that first shot is absolutely stunning, the light, composition, and the mood are just perfect. Great work as always. Can't wait to see the rest of the videos from Scotland.
This is the type of video I love Thomas - you, the van, hunting for compositions in a gorgeous location and thinking out loud! It's why I subscribed to the channel in the first place, keep up the great work!!
Rannoch Moor is simply fantastic! Eating at the cafe in Tyndrum and then onwards, north to Rannoch Moor. You go left and up and there is Buachaille Etive Mor...Soon I will go there again and it will be in winter. Love Scotland and your photography. Many thanks for sharing!
I liked the first image although I think the trees ended up competing for attention with that lovely pink light on the mountains. Second shot was my favourite. Great video!
Thomas beautiful scenery shots whether it wasn’t what you wanted it still turned out beautiful I just want to wish you happy 2019 and to let you know that you I consider to be the Bob Ross of Vlogs
Lovely video Tom. Chilled out photography in every sense of the word. If it's a lone tree in that area that you are after, there is a beautiful one just a little further back. Follow the West Highland Way from Bridge of Orchy up over Màm Carraigh, and there is a beautiful lone tree at around NN286411, overlooking Loch Tulla, just before the Way starts to descend to Inveroran.
Here is no what to criticize Thomas. Everything is absolutely amazing. Your story, nature, place, photos, everything is perfect. I love it. Thank you, you're a great Photographer! All the best for you!
Love your videos Thomas, Ive been a closest watcher for some time and only posting now, I watch all your uploads and enjoy every adventure. Not just the photography, I love the nature scenes, the video, the behind the scenes, the hiking, the honesty, you capture the journey that leads up to the image and thats something which I enjoy most of all, oh and I love the drone sequences too. Keep up the great work, great results from the snow scenes. Your passion for nature and the outdoors prevails through your videos and I feel like I'm on the journey with you, thanks for the uploads and entertainment.
As always I'm very much enjoying your videos. I've been to that a number of times. I have family on Skye and we have driven to Fort William many times. What's amazing about the Moore and most of the Highlands is that it never looks the same and magical in the snow. Thank you for sharing. I'd like to know the focal length you are at.
Brilliant vlog. Beautiful images. I love how you have made it so peaceful. Now living in Australia, its been a long time since I have experienced snow. You have made it incredibly inviting and I hadn't realised how much I missed it.
I really enjoyed this Thomas! It is so helpful to me when you explain your compositions. Keep up the great work - looking forward to many more great videos.
