When I was home this year , went from Bridgewater to CB and up the 104 … wondered what the trails was like around the area your in….I guess I got my answer !
We do a lot of ice fishing in plowing also but we try to get on the trails as much as possible I use screw and ice studs they're little but they're very necessary when on the ice and there's no snow. I can't believe how incredibly good they work in the trail though spots like that tree root and those the frozen rocks they dig in very well. I don't know how much road riding you do but we ride on the roads to the lake all the time and as long as you're not driving aggressively I haven't lost any of them. I think they're called ice cutters. Awesome videos I have been watching you Newfoundland trips like religion Glad to see you get out so much. I have a great Christmas from upstate New York
Thanks for the comment. I used studs on time several years ago, and I was very impressed with how well they worked. I may put another set on again this year. I'm glad to know you like the NL videos, I'm putting out more of them in the next month or so. Merry Christmas!
Looks like a fun Time. Winter is the best riding in northern Alberta . The muskeg is frozen so you can go almost anywhere. I just bought a new outlander xmr . It has the locking front diff. That little extra traction means a lot in certain situations . Enjoying your videos . Cheers. 🙂
Winter riding is definitely a fun time. I never thought about the muskeg but I guess it would freeze solid. I wish Can Am had the locking front diff when I bought my machine. I'm glad you like the videos, thanks for posting!
Thank you. I have been working on the NL video but I am behind compared to this time last year. Jeff does well with the Ranger for sure. Thanks for watching.
That looks so fun man, I’m actually going to be buying my first side by side quite soon and I don’t really know anyone who has atv/utv so if you happen to be looking for anymore new riding buddies feel free to hit me up and once I get my rig I’d be down to go. Ps I do live in Nova Scotia as well.
Congratulations on buying your first SxS! I suggest going to ATVANS website and looking up the local ATV Club in your area and joining it, and going to some club rides. You'll get to know the local trails and get to meet some riding buddies right away. Thanks for watching. What part of NS are you in?
@@EastCoastATV I'm from NE Ohio. We have some decent parks within a 2 hour drive. I'm also planning a trip to Hatfield and McCoy in West Virginia, that should be a good time. I just finished watching your 2020 Newfoundland trip, you make amazing videos. I appreciate the time you put into them.
@@NicktheStumpGuy Hatfield & McCoy looks to be a dream spot to go riding ATV's and SxS's. Thanks for the nice comment about the Newfoundland videos, I appreciate it. I'm actually working on new ones from this year, they should be uploaded in a few weeks.
It's actually not bad at all since it's protected from the wind by the windshield. Sometimes the cold can make the battery die faster but I bring a charger if I need it.
