BFGoodrich has done it again with the new version of the long known Bf Goodrich All-Terrain T/a K02! The best feature for this model: The Snowflake symbol!!!
We never expected that video to be seen more than 575668 times! LOL! Anyway, we wanted to do a sequel for a long time!
How about some snow and the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 mounted under good old Mr. Ford Bronco to see if they are cool on ice and snow. This winter tire testing took place in Quebec where snow is abundant and unpredictable! Note also that our Ford Bronco has no rear lockers! And most of the footage that you will see is done in 2WD! Another question that we will try to answer: BFGoodrich ko2 vs Goodyear Duratrac! Wich one is the best!
So let's go test this winter tire and see if the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is a good tire on ice and snow!

You have balls of steel driving that fast around corners in that lifted bronco 2 sitting that high! I have flipped my 1st Gen Tundra 4x4 over on its side with only a level kit and 33" tires doing less than you were here!

I’ve got ko2s on my 1992 Bronco and I absolutely love them. Used them in snow, rain, sand, mud, gravel and pavement. Excellent tires for sure!

I appreciate an opinion from an experienced driver in winter conditions. There are too many winter tire test videos on RU-vid from people who only drive in winter conditions a few days a year. Keep up the good work.

Just installed a second set of K02 on my Transit van (limited slip) when from 225 to 245 (much more stable). It' is an RV so it goes south in winter (from Wpg). They work great for the lite off-roading I do, quiet enuf on the highway and ok for the odd time when I drive on snow which is what I was after. My studded ice tires are the gold standard.

I got the KO2s and I love them. Look and handle great. Also not too loud or rough on the highway. I would buy them again.

Canada eh 🇨🇦! Love it. So I'm in Saskatchewan and see even worse winters. I have duratracs and yes great in snow but hate them so much on ice. I guess my question is how much of a bump are the KO2 for ice? I love having winter tires but do enjoy the versatility of having one all terrain tire. Have you tried the Cooper ATW?

Salut! J'ai un colorado 2010 et comme toi je demeure au Québec. Est-ce que les KO2 sont adapté à nos hiver? Je souhaite ne pas avoir à changer de pneu au saison et je cherche à changer mes Duratrac. Merci!

The speeds you took those corners confidently shows these are fairly capable even in the snow. I assume they were brand new, or close to it though. Nothing's better than confidence when driving in the winter. I'm sure these are good for a season, and fine for 2 or 3. Probably a good choice for people who live in mild winter climates.

You mentioned that the KO2’s have the snowflakes on them. I also run KO2’s on my Jeep Wrangler and in fact they have the Mountain Snowflakes which makes it one of the few AT tires that meets that requirement which is for severe winter service. This past winter I encountered a section of mountain road with about 4 inches of snow on top of an inch of ice. I was impressed how easy it was for me to climb a grade in those conditions. The only negative I have found to these tires is they are not very good in mud and especially deep mud.

My 4.7land cruiser wearing ko2 and 5.7 Lc wearing the Toyo opat2, I’d say that ko2 is too much better on the snow conditions

That thing is top heavy. Would recommend lowering it and cutting the fenders for clearance.

I"m a Tennessee hillbilly- and I have an accent I get made fun of too... but if you- the canadian , use these K02s in winter up there- on a big truck.. then they'll be plenty good enough for me down here..

Not really! On pure ice i would have been more cautious, but with this type of surface ( because yes the surface of the snow change depending on temperature, humidity, type of snow and more... ) it was not scary at all!

I have not tested that new cooper tire, but I cant seem to find the Winter logo on it. So what happen when it get cold... the tire wont perform as well! I do love the bits at the edge of the grooves! But it's not a real winter tire.

I was looking for the original bf goodrich ko 2 in size 205-70-15 and this model does not exist in this size for my Suzuki jimny 4x4 with m13a petrol engine year 2001 1.3 lt petrol and I opted for a set of L tires

Merci pour les vidéos sur les KO2! Je viens d''acheter les KO2 en 16 pouces (215/70/R16) pour mon Mitsu Outlander 2016. Je vais les essayer cet automne sur les routes accidentées de la Sepaq. Chaque année je suis en mode stress avec les Pneux stock de mon Outlander, des 18 pouces mais je suppose les KO2 vont être plus que suffisants. Et puisqu'ils sont homologués Hivers, je vais les essayer cet hivers quand même, donc mes pneus d'hivers vont hiverner dans le garage disons. La seule chose qui me préoccupe c'est la cote de vitesse R comparé au H des pneus d'origines du Outlander. Selon les conseils techniques, on ne recommande pas mais le conseiller m'a dit que pour un pneu LT c'est ca la cote habituelle. Bref j'ai hâte de les essayer et j'aime bien tes jantes blanches :) peut être je dois investir dans des jantes de même.

Salut! content que tu ai aimé! Effectivement un pneus stock n'est pas idéal dans les routes de gravelles! Soit prudent en hiver! C'est surtout le froid qui change pas mal la reactivitée! Pour la cote de vitesse, t'inquiète pas! Mais tu risques de trouver que de passer en LT vas cogné dure :(
