I think the main issue is music and brand licensing, with Sony having exclusive rights to WipEout and most of the soundtracks being outsourced, unfortunately. In the same way Goldeneye hasn't ever been re-released because of the James Bond license.

BallisticNG killed the freedom of shortcuts and floaty maneuvers with the ver1.0. Is like racing with wheels at this point. In pre release it was so much fun for me considering you could import the F5000 ships and enjoy their uniqueness.
@@dupirechristophe7703 Pretty much yeah, and that's why I stopped playing. Some of my loved custom maps became unplayable with the anti-skip implementation.

I mean at this rate he's pulling so much a Jeff Buckley that he's gonna drown in the wolf river it's ridiculous -_- I paid for a game that keeps disappearing... and I checked, I read what people where saying, the old tracks, before I even bought the game? They where more fun... "oh rugnugnuu the difficulty is too hard I have to balance it" we played for yeaaaars like that, we got the skills now to be good enough, all of a sudden he decide to turn tracks into "daytona rings" for the goddamn beginners... this guy is unbelievable.
As a result the unofficial WO imported ships no longer work as intended. I wonder how the track creator community feels about the changes. Some famous modders provided a ton of track content who had special layouts that played very differently is you set lower speeds or the highest in the settings. Some tracks were even ported from classic Wipeout 1-2-3 so peoples could re-experience them on modern game engine.. that emulating experience is gone. Due to the constant changes I had to edit my review (but how many players with the same feeling did not refreshed theirs..?). I feel like a video adressing the involution issues should be made at least to keep some history clear.
Great work! You play almost exactly like me. Except i just shoot out weapon(s) immediately when i get them. I have achieved faster competition times than this clip only on Qoron IV, Machaon II and Velocitar. This game has better playcontrol than almost any other racer. Damn enjoyable to control.
