Wireless VR review and gameplay from Holopoint with the TPCast for HTC Vive, a $300 device that enables wireless VR.
The TPCast is a wireless adapter that you can attach to the top strap of the HTC Vive. TPCast includes a large battery that you place in your pocket or strap to a belt. You also have to setup the included TPcast router and a sensor that should be place on your wall or ceiling.
Once everything is setup and installed with the TPCast, wireless VR is amazing. However, the TPCast has a variety of issues you have to work through in order to get everything working properly. The sensor should be located in the proper position, and it is recommended to open up the TPCast, remove the microSD card inside, and install a program called OpenTPCast in order to fix all the software problems that come with the device.
