Those types of wire crimpers, you showed, also help in tight spaces as well. It's the main reason why I have that tool

I’ve got all the tools but the mini bolt cutters. Might need to check into that. The ac lowered is really a help Good tips

Add a flexible 3/4 claw spring loaded pickup tool. It will work with non magnetic parts, it can clean out drains, and get in some spots that a straight tool will not. $6 at Home Depot.

I guess I've been around long enough because I practice all of these tips and have for a while. I usually roll up blasting AC/DC or Eminem. Depends on where I am in life.

Hi, I have a 6 Ton carrier split system with a "Piston" I would like to replace it with a Sporlan TXV (I have the TXV on hand) but I also want to add a suction line accumilator . What size of accumilator (in Liters) should I use . Thanks very much

I do residential hvac and work for a small company and been trying to do research for drop in for r22, I’ve found 407C and 422B for these drop ins do you have to change the txv when you do drop in ?

Unfortunately, those magnets don’t work on brass caps on Goodman units where they leave the perfect five eights to 3/4 of an inch gap around the service valves for them to roll back to the compressor. I guess it’s time to pull the outdoor fan off and tie wrap all the loose wires and tubes that are going to vibrate against each other and short out on year 6 or 11.
