At first i hated this Intuition liner because i couldn't get more than 15 minutes of skating with them....a lot of pressure points and toes being numb from the liner being too tight....But after a couple of months it loosened and it fits perfectly, so perfect that even regular shoes i tend to get a better fit now hahahahaha But outside of the regular Seba SX/CJ and USD Carbons, i never skated other skates so i basically jumped straight into them hahaha My last setup was a Flying Eagle Phantom Frame, 4x100mm, straight flat and it was a pain in the back to turn and do corners with it....even basic powerslide/powerstop moves was hard....The Wizards feels basically like i'm skating 80mm or even a bit slalom skate but with the speed of 100mm and the stability the longer frame gives to me in terms of forward and backwards leaning. They are pretty great.

Toe box on the gutted CJ is a bit tight. Heat molding and breaking in can help. Seba is doing some prototypes with a larger toebox.
@Johro66
@Johro66 5 лет назад
Yes but the Intuition liners take some breaking in too, I had the same experience in my seba sx skates, thought they were too small at first, but after some more time in the skates the liners softened and shaped and now they're fine.

felmlyd I find the toe box on the SX2 boot is also really tight out of the box as well. I’m breaking in a second set of new boots and that area really requires some serious break-in I find. Any tips on heat molding the front area of the boot?

Would a wizard set up be good for or better for commuting to and from work or would the urban set up be better? I’m looking to build something or buy something already set up for this. Also I’m 6 foot 1 and 280. Not sure if that affects an answer but there it is. I wanna get fit doing what I did when I was much younger.

Totally agree. If you're having fun with any skates, they could be the best. This is exactly how I feel about my RB 110s. Must admit that I also feel the rocketing of the Wizards could be a bit strange to get used to
@Johro66
@Johro66 5 лет назад
Hey Lino, on my first time skating in the Intuition liners they were TIGHT, so much so I thought the skates were too small, took a few more outings to become comfortable, now they're perfect! By the way, I agree about the tightening of the skates, I have the seba sx2 version but it's pretty much the same skate, be it plastic shell, not carbon, and it's a bit difficult to tighten properly on the top part of the foot where the boot is widest, it doesn't really pull in when you pull the laces, and I pull so hard on the velcro mid strap I'm afraid I'll break it ha.. I'm not a fan of the velcro strap, I would prefer the 45 degree ratchet strap, like I have on my FR1's. But they skate very nice, and I'm still learning!
@RicardoLino
@RicardoLino 5 лет назад
i think the racthet now would create even more pressure ont he ball of my foot..but in future maybe :)
@Johro66
@Johro66 5 лет назад
@@RicardoLino ah OK, for me they don't really tighten that well on the foot, but fine around the ankle. It's more about locking in the heel. But you have the carbon CJ, and I have the plastic boot SX, there's the difference I think, they are wider
@RicardoLino
@RicardoLino 5 лет назад
that might the difference..carbon is usually REALLY DIFFERENT :)
@This_new_handle_system_sucks
@This_new_handle_system_sucks 5 лет назад
@@Johro66 Heel lock in the intuitions is horrible in my opinion, I have them in a pair of gutted Seba Carbon High lights, not the widest skate but for me those little moons were simply not enough to get my heel tight enough in the skate. Everything was tight as hell, but my heel was simply not locked into the boot, I honestly don't think it's the SX that's the problem it is the liner. I've bought some of those sheets self adhesive foam, compared with some other liners where they are bulky at the heel, and put some of the foam on the outside of the intuitions to create more of a heel pocket like the other liners I have. Was some trial and error but now it are the best liners I've ever had, hope they improve the heel locking part in a v3 liner though.

Hi Guys. I have the Wizard NR90. Best skate ever. I tried switching frames for Kizer Trimax 110mm. Hated it. Didn't feel right. I also tried the Oysi aggressive frames and they were super slow and I didn't like the low profile. The wizards are my favorite frame thus far. I'd like to try the Wizard NR100 but I think the NR90 is probably the best all around choice. My two cents. Love this guy Ricardo Lino. Great Videos!!!!
