Made with slowdowns and savestates. This movie is not meant to show skill but rather to provide entertainment. The boost at the end of lap 3 wasn't working for some reason. Final time: 58"21 (19"60) (17"91) (20"70).
That's the beauty of this video; it makes a mockery of the countless hours so many people, myself included, have spent attempting to defeat this zany boss.
I think bubbler round 2 is the hardest boss, wizpig wasnt too bad, same with wizpig 2. none of the bosses are hard with TT though TAS is always fun cus is shows perfect play
what i dont like about this game is that you have to have characters for different sections, i originally wanted to beat this game recently with diddy only but on the hover craft walrus boss i realized it was literally impossible to gain faster speed than him with diddy so i switched to bumper and beat him with no restarts because he had faster hover craft speed, then when i got to wizpig boss which was today i could not even keep up with him no matter if i perfectly hit the boosters or not. perfectly hitting the boosters barely got me in front of him for 5 seconds and missing one was just a automatic loss the race. then when i switched to pipsy i beat him after afew tries of getting use to her booster speed, she is pretty much a OP speed character and has instant turning. something tells me most of the time trials and bosses were tested only using her and not having the slow characters like bumper and diddy in mind ya know since pipsy has the 2nd fastest boost other than T.T
Diddy: Thank you for saving the island and all of us, T.T. T.T.: ... Timber: You were awesome, man! Wizpig had no chance against you. T.T.: ... Tiptup: Yeah! You totally mopped the floor with his face. T.T.: ... Diddy: What's wrong? T.T.: You know... ruling this island does not sound like such a bad idea... (Black screen, creppy disturbing depressing music, and just "Game over")
as a 32 year old I have no problems with this boss even with Krunch. Why? Because I had to play it ten million times as a 9 year old to beat it. The muscle memory inputs just never fade....
i just bought DKR for the n64 yesterday. the many races i drove on it before i got rid of it years back, have proven useful and i'm practically done. i currently have to do the space races and the 4 time trials there as well. getting t.t has never been easier, when you can just use the repeatable gas-tapping method.
pixcalibur123 when you take a zipper (does dash pads of yours) if you let go of A your turbo will turn green, indicated that you just got a WAY BETTER turbo than the normal one.
It was tool assisted i.e. slowing the game down and using an undo junction to fix any mistakes I make. This was done to show what the game would look like if someone played it near perfectly and is not a measure of playing skill.
Wow just seeing this i destroyed this game loved it more than mario kart its actually possible to lap him normally just need to keep tapping A Button it takes you above normal max speed and the best beginning boost comes from holding down A early and releasing to get the timing right you get god boost
It means the game was slowed down and played with an "undo" function to eliminate mistakes from gameplay and hence demonstrate the theoretical limits of gaming.
