Here are some bits and pieces taken from a recording of WNEW (channel 5 in the New York city metro area), their "Movie Greats" package that aired on Saturday evenings at 8pm. This one was "Captain Blood," as seen in the first bump, and it aired on May 4th, 1985.
After that, a promo for Sunday evening's "Perry Como Las Vegas Style" special (from 1976) and a Torresella wine ad. "Straw Dogs" was that night's "Channel 5 Movie Club" showing at 11 pm (although announcer Tom Gregory mistakenly says 7pm), and the promo carried a viewer discretion warning.
The Grand Union Price Finder Guide is touted next, then another movie promo, this one for "A Man Called Horse" on Sunday afternoon. The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus (with their dubious "Living Unicorn") was in town for two more weeks at Madison Square Garden, James Karen offered free potatoes at Pathmark, and "Murder by Death" was the Sunday evening flick. Another title bump closes out the video.
