Oh my god. Abadango is so solid. No mistakes in his backairs. This is good, because one mistake could be his stock. Luigi’s cyclone can punish pretty much anything and kills early. Especially Elegant’s.

Interesting how Abadango avoided 2 D throw bairs by simply using neutral DI, as most players would do it toward the center of the stage, which Elegant almost always responds by positioning the bair correctly. I would expect nothing less from Elegant, but a great set nonetheless.

Not only was that a good strategy, he lost because he didnt bair enough game 2 and 3. Luigi gets so much shit off one neutral win you have to disjoint him out.

The fact that many characters down tilt, including inkling, just push Luigi offstage and since he has a linear recovery with 0 air speed he legit cannot do shit. He just gets two framed for free and dies

Again. People don’t know what they’re talking about with the patch. The Zair was barely touched. It got buffed, but it was only to make it connect better when you’re super close to your appointment. Loll so many commentators feed out false information about Luigi. Everything he has now he had in the beginning. Just a very slight buff to Zair, and a buff to jab. Literally that’s it. He’s a weird dude but get with the program!

@@KeleuHerdley yeah, there are multiple ways of doing that. I played many luigis online, so id know. Like idk what you would call it in english, but running back and forth, first jab, tilts, etc as mixups are great as you are not predictable and hard to read to your opponent, thus hard to be "grabbed." Spamming a single aereal move is not the only way. and tbh, its boring to look at/watch. But apparently its just me. so just ignore me, i guess.

Inklings back air is pretty fast and safe so you can see some inklings spam it a lot some times. Still better than watching cosmos go for rapid jab 75% of the time imo
