I guess I’ll start the trend of saying how happy I am with the result! Great match but seeing a duck hunt take it is refreshing. Props to Raito for singlehandedly carrying the duck hunt meta on his back.

That was so close, I was rooting for Elegant and he performed so well, it was definetly anybody's game. Congrats to Raito, amazing set, almost gave me a heart attack xD

I just love the raw emotion of a very close match with high stakes and how the players react when it ends... it's just so funny to see the pure relief and euphoria on raito's face at 39:36 and how elegant just weakly holds his hand out for the fist bump

One of the most impressive sets I've ever seen. All the way up to game 10 last stock. While Elegant proves once again his impressive explosive play style and combo ability with Luigi even in Ultimate, Raido has been able to make incredible adjustments and play very, very safe in set 2 against Elegant's rushdown aggressivity. Both players played their heart out and both deserved to win the tournament. I hope Elegant isn't too bitter and both players respect each other for this incredible set, all despite of the huge prize Raido won.

I feel really bad for Elegant. At points in that last game he actually looked like he was panicking a little, pressing buttons and getting punished for it 🙁

in the very last interaction... i noticed that the only reason that raito could even chase elegant's roll on stage with the can from the ledge is because luigis fireball had recently touched the can making it go in the other direction whenever raito pressed b next. great awareness to capitalize on that!

Raito adapted so well to elegants playstyle in the 2nd game damn.

Luigi has excellent combos, solid neutral, a broken tether grab, but god awful recovery. He's decent. With some more buffs to his recovery, I think he will be a top pick.

Duck Hunt has got to be the most nerve racking character to play against, good job to both players though. Great set.

DId anyone else notice that the can turned around for the last stock? Luigi's fireball reversed the direction of the can and that's what killed him in the end. The can was supposed to fall off stage, and it could have missed Luigi. CRAZY

Why is this video stuck in HD? I'm not going to watch because of this. But anyway, Raito made an amazing showing at this tournament. Raito is basically my favorite player and I noticed he didn't quite have it together in the past, but now he has shown amazing strength in making it to grand finals so competently. Winning here would be a changing point in his career as much as Sparg0 had a changing point.

I main Duck Hunt because I love the character, how original he is, how imaginative his gameplay is. I just love to play with these two animals that makes me just so Happy to play with. But unfortunetly peoples hate to play against him and i understand them. I hate to play against Samus or Megaman with my Duck Hunt, trying to aproache them because any of my projectiles works and their projectiles just destroys mine so easely. But I love them too, how Samus and Megaman and their gameplay are, their are just super great characters ! Like all of the Smash Cast ! But I continuously heard "Duck Hunt is only a spamming / zonning character" "He's a stupid running out character"... it really hurt me. Please just think of the characters and how they had to be masters to be using at top players and just admit that the two players are incredible ! And that these matchs were so close for the two of them ! Okay it can be ragging to play against Duck Hunt but please don't consider the character only for that fucking thing... i just love to play duck hunt and not to spamming just to try to do my best with that character and try to do all of the incredible plays he can do with hes gameplay. Please just stop be angry against him, he don't deserve all of these mad comments.

Dude, sometimes idk why elegant throws out certain cyclones. I understand it’s strong and has invincibility at the start-up but the lag does him in so many times. If it whiffs, there’s a high chance of a huge punish. Still rooting for him tho, would love to see him grow more

why do people complain about Duck Hunt's Recovery? Just like in Duck Hunt, when the duck's flying, he avoids being shot down by gunmen. In this case, Raito Trying to Recover was the Duck..... And Elegant was the Gunman.

Darn, good job Raito. This looked like a tough set for Elegant because of how disruptive the can and disc is for combos and grabs, but they both put up a great fight.

I feel like Elegant in some cases should have thrown out a fireball or two towards the ledge to cover his approach especially in game 10.
