As an OLD woman, I think alimony should be removed. Alimony was for women in my day who had a very hard time getting a job and were paid less than their male counterparts. Now, women have an advantage in the workforce. Also, child support needs to be done away with, or at least, greatly modified. Child support shouldn't be to make the homes equal, but to cover basic needs, and it's up to the parent to earn more. Also, it should be monitored. The parent receiving child support should be required to account for, with receipts, where the money is spent. They claim it would bog the government down, so allow the parent paying to be in charge of reviewing it, and report misuse if they find it

Exactly! I've been saying (thinking) the same exact thing. Child support laws need to be changed. They are outdated and only made sense when women didn't work. (As in, a job, I'm not insinuating that housework and raising children isn't work.)

Exactly. This definitely needs to happen. Also mandatory DNA tests so men don't get screwed over by their women cheating and trying to make him pay for them. Because that happens far too much.
