Maybelleine fit me matte and poreless in shade 110 (porcelain) has a yellow undertone while 112 is neutral It's a drugstore foundation and I've personally tried it and loved it (I'm a pink undertone though so 110 was too yellow for me)

Chelsea D Try Korean foundation, most shades are very pale and have a yellow undertone and Korean makeup is fantastic. YesStyle has hundreds of reviews for Korean makeup, I recently bought a primer and bb cream from Etude House and it was so cheap

April_Eliza That's the point. It's supposed to match the skin so that it covers things like redness and such and acts like a base for other products they're going to put on their skin (like concealer, bronzer, etc.)

Ruby Simpson Let me learn you a thing girl, Lancome is expensive, you're totally right. But for the product....TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE POINT. I don't go through their products quickly because you don't need as much as you would with other brands. I'm an combo skin that tends to get really oily in my t-zone and Native American so shade matching is usually impossible. Lancome has always been the brand that has my shade and correct undertones. At least try it for yourself, treat yourself once at least :)

Hope this becomes a trend in cheaper makeup brands. I can actually see it happening in a few years. Imagine CVS having a custom foundation koisk in some of their stores.That would be amazing, especially since at US drugstores you cant always guess the correct foundation since there are no testers. I know a lot of people ending returning foundation that doesnt match, so imagine how that would save money for drug stores.

As a dark-skinned girl, my nose can get quite red but the rest of my face is ghost pale and gray. I don't even know what foundation would work, and I can't rely on anything but my face since my arm is really light but my forearm is very dark, and my chest is two shades lighter than my neck. Worst than that, half my face is warm and the other half is cool. The agony.

You should check out the Glam and Gore RU-vid channel. I think before I've seen her explain that you can get pure white foundation and then mix it with your normal foundation to match your skin tone. Check out her video called 'Top 25 Makeup Tips, Tricks & Products for Pale Skin'

I'm not even joking, I went to boots (best place in uk for drugstore makeup) so my story is that I was going to look for an affordable foundation that I could wear everyday so I went to No 7, lightest shade was too dark, rimmel was too dark, so was Clinique, Estée Lauder, max factor, maybeline, and every other brand there so yay for pale people

Katie go to sephora and get higher quality makeup. They do have your shade $50 isn't that much, probably less than all five of those combined. KVD has a pure white foundation Plus Makeup Forever and Tarte have extremely light shades

a question: why does a beautiful girl with literal flawless skin want to wear foundation?!.. i mean, i understand eyeliner, lipstick, mascara, eyebrow pencils and such, but... covering up your already perfect skin, to look just as perfect as it looked before? really??... besides. you can actually RUIN your skin because of foundation and get breakouts and blemishes.. i'd only recommend it to people with acne... or for a regular person, just put concealer in a lighter shade than your face is, on your red spots. (also for those who didn't know, i was mostly talking about the black girl in the video. she had no foundation on her face, yet she looked so gorgeous! she doesn't need it at all...)

i would do anything for this. i have super dry skin but im so pale that i often go to get matched and they either dont have my color or it is the lightest color they have. then it is either pink or yellow toned when i have cool toned skin, and its often an extremely dry forumla or an extremely sheer formula. and while i know this is no struggle compared to POC and that they have had to deal with this much longer than i have, and i will only purchase makeup with inclusive shade ranges, its still a struggle when i have to mix and mix, and the white foundations are often way too thick and drying. i wish i could get something mixed but i dont really have the money. but it makes me happy to see companies doing this because its nice to see the inclusiveness, especially since i only buy from places that have large shade ranges, its nice to also add a place i can buy things from on my list.

I haven't gotten custom make-up, personally, but I've had that shade-matcher used on me at a Sephora. The shade it recommended wasn't right at all, and I ended up finding a better match by myself.
