Sxly, it's an advantage if she doesn't have to worry or stress. "She" (my girls call her bunny 🐇 ) becomes genuinely interested in letting "Him" in (my kids call him wolfie 🐺 ) when she can relax and feel cared about. Otherwise, the woman is acting sxly like a man... which can NEVER truly work without a lifelong dose of disillusionment and conflict.

I'm a man. I could agree with women never saying anything like that, because it doesn't make sense. No, sacrifice is the privilege of the weak. The strong have no need for sacrifice. Strong simply do and take, while minimizing the amount of potential enemies along the way. Perhaps you meant compromise? If you're a man and you HAVE to make sacrifices to protect and provision someone, I would arguably say that you cannot be a strong man then. You're after all permanently giving away opportunity or resources, else it wouldn't be sacrifice. There is an alternative view on this though; its also possible you'd think you're sacrificing since you'd get nothing of value in return. But it may also indicate you may be blind to what the other is offering. When someone else is offering something you don't want, it may very well seem like they're not offering anything at all. Then technically, you're sacrificing things for nothing. But this is where a strong man differs. He'll just reduce the amount of sacrificed, stop it entirely, or demand a bargain. Is that not what a leader does? Stand up for what is right? Sacrifice rarely is the answer, but competence is. Disclaimer: english not my first language, didn't meant to be personal. Cheers.

Men have been taught to cater to the feelings of women and to always do right by her, which on paper sounds great but doesn't actually work. You have to be competent and capable. You have to excite her and ground her at the same time. You have to keep her in line. Most men are capable of doing this in their professional lives, but in their relationships, they are basically handicapped in emotional warfare. The women have been training for years how to manipulate and to test you. If you fail her tests or if she can manipulate you, she loses respect. A woman can not love a man she doesn't respect. Some of them have an idea of what a man is, and once they get to see you up close, an they see you're just a regular dude trying, as they are trying, it becomes difficult for them to love you. Men also prioritize relationships more than women because it is harder for a man to attain. So a woman will more easily leave and replace you than you can do her. You are expected to do most of the work during dating and in the relationship, and you suffer the most loss. It's very hard to see the benefits of a relationship today, especially considering the types of women out here.

I concur. The 2 best bosses I had were like this. They had the faith in me to get the the job done by the deadline, and they stuck their necks out for me, and they shielded me from others who wanted my time & expertise. You better believe I put them first.

I agree with your vision of leadership. Your ex's attitude sounds like my ex. When I simply asked her thoughts on something to be considerate and take her desires into account, she very specifically said she thought I was trying to avoid leadership and it made her not respect me. I found her view of leadership to be crude and cold (which I realize is how she saw her father). And she usually resisted anything and everything I had to say. On subjects I clearly had more knowledge, her ignorant opinion was right because she was the voice of God.

I'm the 1%, whether men like it or not. I gave them many chances to lead. Too emotional! I don't have the rest of my life to watch a clown fail. So, yeah, I took charge, because nobody else would. Ouch! And I'm gonna have to agree, just from what I've seen. Think 8th grade middle school. I've seen a few really great women who were fine management and universally regarded by all staff to be the right person for the job. As someone who had been in a position to influence who got the job, you might laugh at me when I tell you the quality that brought candidates of either gender to the top: They had a spouse and at least 3 kids. Yep, think about what it takes to pull that off successfully. All other things being equal, that's the person I selected. You'd be surprised how many high maintenance adolescents are in the average workplace. Those parents are armed, ready and the department is in firm hands.

A rephrase could be: Once you're so used to doing something, it feels like normal, you don't have to think about it and you have a choice to think about it regardless. You don't have to think to create a desired outcome. A few examples are: singing (to be able to go on stage), drawing (so people want to buy your product), but also nurturing (so a child can be raised into an adult). Natural level mastery means that the skill is mastered to the degree that is might as well be as any nature you were born with. It became part of you.

Ever heard of feeling safe or not? When you're competent, you're literally in control of outcomes and processes. This means you can ensure your own safety by controlling the opportunities you and others can take around you. The consequence is that the more competent you are, the less you have to think of safety. I'm going to keep delusion out of the story for now, but it essentially gives you a false sense of control. Imagine yourself as a small child, male. You've just lost your parent in a store. Obviously, you have very little competences that enforce (self-) control. Suddenly, a huge biker guy comes your way. Having never seen such a big guy before, it's like seeing a giant dinosaur. Do you think you'd stay calm? No, you've already lost control and your safe space, which your parent provided. You'd run away. This is why children often hide behind someone they deem safe when approached by an unknown adult. As you may have noticed, at this stage in life, it is not relevant whether you're male or female. Now, consider a female child growing up the same way. With no safety net (parents aren't always there, like when going to school), she learns from experiences, stories, and videos that not every biker guy is dangerous, but not every one is safe either. This creates a gray area where misjudgment could lead to real danger. With no cultural motivation to adopt skills (competences) that make you control the opportunities around you, you cannot make yourself feel safe. Combine that with the gray area it becomes doubt and worry that is called neuroticism, or proclivity to negative emotion. So why are men unaffected? Because they (have to) confront these situations directly. If a big biker guy approaches, a man either freezes and nothing happens, or something bad happens, and he learns. There is no gray area. This is also because typically, a huge biker guy is not attracted to another man as a potential mate, where a woman very well might be. This adds to the potential that pushes her in that gray area. This means all competences displayed by men are potential threats unless they can show control and an understanding of others' views. From a woman's perspective, who is rarely confronted in the same way men are, she may lack the experience to recognize that control. Therefore, men need to communicate their competences in a way that shows understanding of her perspective. This alignment reassures her that you are in control. It is the lack of alignment with her view that makes a woman doubt you're in control and, therefore, see you as a (potential) threat. Do you know how exhausting it is to constantly be in that gray area? If you're too pessimistic, no man can approach you as everyone is a threat. Are you too optimistic, you're gonna get hurt one way or another. Eliminating that gray area is not about showing competence in general, but about demonstrating understanding and alignment with her perspective. Their idea of leadership and power is different from a man's. Just stop thinking of them as "faulty men" and they start making a lot of sense actually, albeit in a way that doesn't come intuitively to you or I. Think of it like this: you wouldn't let just anyone touch your loved ones or your car, right? Only a proper physician or mechanic or someone you know is safe to be let around with them. It is the same with women and leadership -- they need to know they're in safe and competent hands because proper submission requires trust -- the same kind of trust you need to feel in someone's competence before you let them mess with a family member's health, for example. And let's be real -- you're leaving out that they're not simply looking for a boss, but their knight in shining armor who leads *by his own right,* not just because she _lets_ him. You also need to appeal to what they find attractive and enjoy. You can't just pretend you don't need to take women's wants into account or not be expected to demonstrate your leadership qualities by being the best man you can be, that's folly.

Being challenged to rise above your own nature and to be the best man you can be is worth in of itself.

It's a general notion of having your shit together and knowing how parts fit together in the big picture.

The man building his "frame" & being able to maintain it while being anchored by his values/morals/virtue. That's the large part. "Maintaining" is not always easy, it can be lonely & tiresome; hence the benefit of a loving helpmate.

Communities would not allow women to marry a man without the ability to lead. Women are not attracted to men they must mother. Independence has left women without mentoring or consequences. Past or present, it makes no sense to allow a woman to lead in a relationship.
