Today we have another special build featuring the Wooting 60HE in KBDFans' new Tofu 60 Redux case,. After getting alot of feedback and hype about this keyboard, KBDFans decided to bring back the original Tofu with it's tray mount system, offering a place to add additional weights and removable standoffs. For todays build, I have used the removal standoffs in the middle and did the o-ring mod for a more softer typing experience. Thank you so much to the person giving me the opportunity to build this unique keyboard!

This is perfect, sounds way better than some other tests with the same case. Goes to show that good modding helps even without the greatest switches and stabs

So far the only good sounding modded wooting ive heard (Maybe the others soundtest were bad idk) but thats actually good. cant wait for my redux n shit :D Good job!

This sounds great, better than any I've seen online. I can see you've listed the mods but it sounds like a lot of foam was used. Can you give details of what you used and at what layers

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. For foams, I used the poron foam that came included with the Tofu60 Redux, this was placed at the very bottom of the case then fill it up with 2 layers of PE Foam which is about 3mm thick. For the PE Foam layer ontop on the PCB it was about 2mm

did you use the stock switch plate (the steel one or wtv) or did you get one of the POM/FR4 plates with the Tofu redux

By o ring mod do you mean o rings on the stand offs or on the keycaps? Also could you show us how much foam did you use and where? The sound is amazing. The switches are default linear60?

Unfortunately I don't have the keyboard with me anymore as it belonged to a client, but I did use o-rings for the standoffs (including the removable one in the middle) & used the original poron foam that came with the case & added pe foam that covers everywhere in the case. Also may i know wdym by the switches?

@@kayoriskeyboards Thanks for the response. Im waiting on the keyboard, already have the Tofu Redux, so might do the mods you listed as the sound is nice. As to the question about switches, in the desc list you mentioned Gateron Lekker Switches, I was just curious if they are the default ones that come with the board, or the optional Linear60 from the Wooting website.

@@Deadrax Ohhh I see, yeah, they're the default switches that came with the keyboard though I wanna point out that if you're going to lube those switches, I highly recommend you to film them because the housings wobble a lot which introduces a ton of stem wobble.

can I assume these are the lekkar linear 60 switches (teal) and not the lekkar linear 45 switches (orange)

yes, there were the Teal lekkars that I used in this build. I didn't notice there was another variant for the lekkar switches as I thought Teal was the only one that existed.
