Hi ! I am so so happy I found your channel ! I am a Respiratory Therapist and have been working night shift since 4 years. I just found out I have PCOS. I really need to take care of my health. Couple doubts I have is : 1. Is it beneficial for us if we do Intermittent Fasting just few days a week? ( I work three 12hr shifts 7p-7am) 2. How do you eat on the day off after coming home in the morning after night shift?
Hi Liya. We are too! Thanks for watching. 1. In my personal experience there are mixed reviews. Here is a blog we wrote which will hopefully answer your question about doing IF as a shift worker. theothershift.com/night-shift-intermittent-fasting/ 2. When I get home I love to have a small bowl of warm oats with honey (no caffeine) then bed. I crave something warm. Then I get up about 1-2pm. I have a cup of tea, my green juice (SuperGreen TONIK - supergreentonik.com/?rfsn=5835055.445e5f) is the one I drink a snack of some kind if I feel like it. Healthy dinner after doing some exercise Hope that helps. Reach out if you have any more questions. Em
Thank you! I recently transitioned to a new job and new work schedule. I am starting my very first-night shift in my entire career and I have no idea how it's gonna go. However, I am grateful that this is a work-from-home set-up.
Hi Ira. You're welcome, thanks for watching. I have recorded a video talking about your first ever night shift which will probably be helpful too. Reach out if you've got any questions and best of luck. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xWkGgWzI5_k.html
