I would have paid for structured coaching such as this as a kid, these girls don’t seem bothered about the training other than a few individuals!

0:42 Warmup includes running for at least a mile. Is that common for sprinters?

No, it's not and it's not conducive to fast sprinting either. None of what I saw outside of the plyometrics was actually benefitting these kids from an increase of speed perspective. It was just busy work. Nothing about pulling a sled backwards is doing anything to enhance their speed or speed endurance. You don't get faster sprinting forward by having anything training you running backwards.

This wasn’t a real workout/training day, they don’t ever do these. This was all publicity campaign video shoot, they never did this workout before and never did it again. *notice only one athlete was doing that hurdles hop*. There was only 1 coach out there, the other 3 were school administrators. Also their team is 3 times the amount of kids who were out there that day.
