Reminds me of my HS shop teacher. First day, his words of wisdom handed down to us. "Welcome. Some of you will now spend your life making stupid shit go fast. Have fun and be safe." He had all kinds of stupid shit that went fast 😁 It's been a fun ride in the 30yrs since.
Damn I don't think my car could handle that humungous black shaft getting slid in. But the bigger the better. I hope it doesn't stretch out my rear end. But it should cover all my big power needs.
At the 6:40 mark. I do hope your prepared for the wrath of your phone sales staff! (I literally had to rewind the video twice just to finish viewing due to lmfao)!
You can make the smaller tubes stronger by inserting a strip of metal inside the tubes aligned with the direction of the stress, welded as much as possible and cut longitudinal and welded in the middle.
Thank you for all the content, its great to have your channel to refer to concerning a race car build! I have started to build a race car and start my youtube channel. It is a slow process but I am enjoying every minute!
Too damn funny, my wife came by around the time you brought out the bbc, she was like “does he know what he’s talking about?” I started rolling. Yeah he’s a smart ass! I responded. Too damn funny!
Just like your precision shipping to Murder Nova, you aim to please them all. Lmfao. Great story. Great products too. Great to see you haven’t lost your humor.
Holy $hit! How many calls has he had "yes sir, I need the BBC really bad... my rear end is gettin loose that faster I go, so, i think the BBC will tighten it up"😂
Us Australians like this sort of comedy. I wonder how many takes it took him to keep such a straight face. He even put them on his online store as a bigger piss-take. Funny bastard
Fantastic!!!!!! I can only guess what the bbc initials stand for. What happened to the dual lower 4-link bars that somebody said was all the rage about 20 years ago??? 2 1.625 OD x wall lower bars on each side of the car, you aint gonna bow those. I am guessing you probably wouldn't need an anti-roll bar either, the suspension would probably bind, but I'm not sure, I never tried it either.
I can hear it now, Tim's wife has just decided to start driving a new in house development so she can see for herself, how much rear-end movement "XXXBBC" can actually handle! Sorry Tim, I just couldn't resist. Love ya man and all you have done and continue to do for the sport!
🍿🍿.. ok I'm ready! I had to bring 2 buckets of popcorn so im cover while reading these comments. I will say though.. you really seemed to enjoy rubbing and stroking on the XXX. Idk what that's all about?? Lol
Any questions you might have? Oh I could well imagine them. LOL. "Yeah hi I was after the BBC but I'm not sure it's enough for the power I have" "And how much power do you have sir?" "600hp"
Dammit Tim.. I bought the Big Black and slid it in my rear. Now my damn seals are leaking shit all over the floor. keep it up buddy.. We all need a good laugh with all the bullshit happening. Awesome work BTW.
Be prepared, once you install these, it'll take a couple of weeks for the car to track right again. Also, your crewmembers will be named Aiden, Braden and Jaden.
In a top fuel dragster, the engines only last about 4 seconds. Just about every single part of the engine immediately dies, even if that part was originally intended to survive for thousands of miles. Does that mean I could justify using my chemistry knowledge to help make super high-performance parts that only live a very brief but glorious life, since they were gonna be vaporized in that time span anyway?
Here is an example of what I mean; Valve springs. Coated in nitrocellulose, just like a billiard ball. When struck, they produce very tiny explosions at their surface, thus returning more kinetic energy than they absorb. This slowly destroys the valve spring as it's abused, but wasn't that gonna be its fate anyway?
