QB could you make a new series where you review the games of the weaker players and give tips and point to there mistakes along the way? I think it could help a lot of players. Thank you for the great content so far, love your videos!
QB you said vertical stabilizers helped you alot. But on my 45TP I can't mount them. Maybe you mixed something up there since the T29 can mount a V-Stab.
I love the 45tp :) Play it like a heavy when you’re top tier and a medium when you’re bottom tier. It feels like the IS-2 and VK45.03 had a baby that kept the best of both :D Best heavy for ramming missions!
Am i weird.. I had a lot of great games in the 40TP and thought it was a pretty fun little tank, Just got the 45TP though, definitely like the better mobility
Yeah, I was searching through comments, if I'm the only one. After the initial shock that I had, that I had to think hard what to do with this tank, as it had nothing going for it. bad dpm, inaccurate gun even when fully amimed, very little armor and cherry on the top very poor mobility (even though it says 50 km/h is max speed, I've never reached it even downhill). Though I have to menation, I haven't done many climbs so far, but I don't find this tank so terrible, from what I've heared there are many abodsultely terrible tanks in the lower tiers. After some upgrading, and after I found where on the battlle field I should move, I started to actually enjoy it most of the time, I had lucky bounces, I had many pretty moments :) But now that I think about it, I as a bad player was able to get many many 3rd classes and also some 2nd classes for exp, so I guess the avarage exp gain is really low for this tank :D guess many people just give up and buy it out with free exp and blueprints :D
in my eyes the 45TP was one of the nicer parts of the polish tech tree compared to the other tanks you get it fully researched rather quickly. Its hull armor is lacklustered but with its mobility and actually great turret it actually makes up for it. I think this tank is meant to be played more like a medium than a traditional heavy. It has a rather small profile is surprisingly agile and boast amazing alpha damage for its tier.
You're looking at it wrong! You even compared it to the T29 AND the IS at the start but then u onl compare it to the T29 in the rest of the video. If you compare only with the IS (which is a good tank) instead; it has better mobility, better armour (or at least comparable), better accuracy, slightly worse dpm.
yeah because he's comparing it to one of the best tanks tier for tier in the game. Saying it's a worse T29 basically means it's the second best heavy tank at tier 7 in the game. You're the one looking at it wrong for thinking QB was saying the tank is bad.
@@_badmadsadlad I agree the T29 is the best tier 7 heavy its armour holds strong against a lot of tanks and you can pack a punch not as much as some but still very good
_bad He was definitely saying it was more bad than good. 19:05 "not terrible" is not the same as "good", "playable"; IS however synonymous with below average (which basically means it's bad), 19:27 "didn't really enjoy" (even though it's good???), 2 things he didn't like? "lack of turret armour": this tank actually has decent turret armour for a tier 7 heavy actually it's better than the IS, and not having 10 degrees gun depression: this tank has 8 which is actually better than most tier 7 heavies. So in conclusion he's bashing the tank for not being best in class (like the T29) and not really commending the strengths (speed and gun handling and decent armour). His bias really shines through in his comment at 19:50: here he says that it sacrifices the things it needs to be good in a tier 9 game to gain an advantage in a good matchup... however it is common knowledge that bottom tier play style should be more mobile and have better gunhandling rather than armour which is usually only effective vs same and lower tiers (T29 is probably the only tank in the game that doesn't follow this rule). I mean there's a reason why you'd rather be in a bottom tier light/medium/TD rather than a bottom tier heavy that gets penned by everything anyway.
I just got a mastery in this tank, along with steel wall, and like 5 other achievements after watching this video... I think I bounced 20 shells, lmao. I completely held one line from 2 heavies and 2 mediums.. Thanks for the tips, I'd of never considered sitting at those angels
Love this tank! Got a free to play account and kept it. Not too overpowered, but jot horrible. Got some pretty solid games in it and love the profile of the tank, too. The gun can troll at times but is pretty reliable. Got my first mark of excellence.. going at least for my second mark next! Overall, a solid tier 7 heavy!
I have played a good variety of tanks tier l-X and though I do agree with you about the 45TP short falls. I am finding this line of Polish tanks has challenged my skill and after completing most of this line has made me a far better tanker. Maybe it will do the same for others. -cheers!
had yesterday really good rounds in this tank (much better then my overall stats): 2000 average damage, 7 out of 8 wins, wn8 of over 3800 and Union Campaign Mission Nr. 15 including Bonus, I like......
I don’t mind the 45tp being slow, as long as it has the armor to back it up; the issue with the 40tp was that it was slow, had no armor, and it’s gun was weak - basically just an all around bad tank.
This is one of my favorite tier 7 tanks.....but only with a turbo. I forgo having any vision to buff the great mobility and use this like a heavy medium.
I actually disagree with you this time QB if you gave this tank the turret armour of the T29 and the gun depression it would essentially be way better than the T29 as it would be more mobile. I actually think this tank is pretty good I’d rather have mobility than armour any day but that’s just my play style and opinion one thing I hate though is the slow shell speed that does suck.
You did more damage in that top tier game (first one shown) than I do in 99% of my matches (including top tier)... seriously incredible. I have trouble blocking more than about 1.5k damage in the 50TP prototype lol and that tank is considered OP by some... AND I have trouble doing more than 2k damage in the STRV-S1, which is also a T8 prem. Either you get put with some seriously low ranking players, or you get seriously lucky, or you're just a godlike WoT player (or potentially all 3 lol).

I got this tank also, and played with this tank with xp booster to get the tier 8 heavy. I like this tank but THE T29 was my first tier 7 tank and it is still amazing. Even in tier 9 you can still fight and get good results. Before the skorpion G i fought a lot of tier 10 with the T29 and that was epic, fail platoon. :) Still i like the 45TP is a good tank but it is not a replacement for T29 :).
Frankly this thing only seems good because you likely had to survive the absolutely awful tier 6. Tiger P is better. Tiger 1 is much better. T29 is miles better.
Five skilled crew, full equipment, food, how many of you watching this video have this on 45tp? Basicly if i or when i buy this tank i would have two-skilled crew, no eq., no food and this tank will not be as good as i feel it is by watching this video.
This was a meh tank for me too. I ran it for a bit, did fine in it, but just wasnt fun to use. If I wanted to keep using a tier 7 heavy for normal play, I would opt to just keep using the Tiger P or something else.
I felt much the same about this tank - initially I thought it was pretty good but soon realised that was just a relief from the awful 40TP. So far this Polish tree has been a major disappointment, if it wasnt bad enough the changing between, light, medium and heavy varieties, the tanks are at best nah, at worst, awful
we bounce a premium round ... because we dident think bout using a HE instead ... wich would maybe done zero damage but any critical hit on the enemy decaps. That in fact would change the Game if you got the 2 secondes for it. The premium round changed nothing @ all.
This is the only PL tank i skipped with free XP, played 3 games in it and it wasnt great (for me). It feels like a slow medium with a too large profile. My advice get the tier 8 with reliable frontal (turret) armor and a sick gun! Looking forward to tier IX 🙏
I would rather have this tank than something super OP that WG will nerf in a few months after people have done EXP conversions to rush to it and seal club. Every line tends to have a mediocre tank and most even have a bad tank. I kind of like this idea. Ok armour, with decent mobility and decent gun.

11:20. Quickybaby, you made a mistake there. You didn't use HE to reset the cap but instead used an APCR round. AP, APCR and HEAT are unreliable when you really have to make that last shot count for the exact reason seen on the video, bounce. HE doesn't bounce. It may ricoche but not bounce (and when you ricoche a HE shell, then you are just playing poorly). Even if HE does 0 damage there is still a chance to reset the cap because even tiniest amount of damage to even tracks resets the cap. That's why ALWAYS, ALWAYS and ALWAYS use HE to reset the cap when you absolutely have to reset the cap at the very last second.
I think it was the wrong play and he could have won that game, instead of blaming his team mate. Just ignore the T29, load HE and reset cap. Done. Sometimes you just have to take one for the team.
We once were winning a game in tier 9 match and I wanted to get some extra damage so we were capping and the other two guys were capping base so I got there with my t-10 and asked if they can not cap so they got off but I started lagging and got distracted by that and was talking to my teammate about my lag so I’m looking at my ping and not realizing that there’s 10 seconds left for the enemy and we have like 30. They eventually capped and people weren’t too happy. That’s my story on how I fucked up a win
I am back in Wot after couple years thanks to your videos. I think you failed to win 1st battle. You could have passed t29 and race towards the circle to reset cap and just return fire from t29 by Autoaim. Am I right?
I don't understand people trying to reset the cap with gold shells when there is no time ,just use HE hit anywhere and boom you reset the cap, if it has too much armour just shoot HE to the tracks and boom you still reset the cap.
Not always. Even tho tracks take damage 100% of the time. It won't matter if your module damage on the gun on a low roll is not enough to even get the tracks orange. As most lower tier guns do vs higher tier modules.
as much as this video is not about the top tier tank i've been thinking a bit about the features of it russian hull +turret armor american gun depression german alpha need i to say more?
This is a weird one for me. I am carrying a 67% win rate while grinding it, I dont have a huge battle count yet, somewhere around 65 battles, and my damage per game is averaging around 1400 with it. Yet even so, it just feels like the tank is trying to fight me. It doesn't feel very user friendly at all. I am not enjoying it, but I can't really point to exactly what is wrong.
Altho I think im gonna like this tank much how i like the IS. Its slim, and compact compared to the t29. Will probably drive it like some sort of Sherman Jumbo.
