Yeah right, gandalf hardly even used magic in those films, he spent most of his time in boring melee combat! He's such a weak mage I bet the best fireworks he could do is snakes and sparklers. He can make the sky get a little brighter though, but meh.
I was a pyrotec for many years, shot many shows and i can tell you, it takes a lot of sweat and muscle to pull these off. Aside of what little money we got for shooting a show, where the money was at that time was running the business of selling. What our crew got the most pleasure from was the crowds cheering after, so always raise the noise for lengthy amount of time. From a retired pyrotechnics person.
@@drivevibes6996 there are businesses that train and certifies you to work for them you have to be investigated by 3 diff companies, atf, state, and state fire marshals. Hours of classes to become one and on job training. It's cool for a younger man. We had our own trailer with mortars and equipment to set a show. Takes on average 12 hours to do show, maybe longer depending on town let you shoot at dusk.
Both look awesome. Absolutely beautiful works of color and pyrotechnics, really shows how culturally different yet impactful different parts of the world can be 🎇♥️🎆♥️
For the assorted people who have wondered about the cost: This is the Katakai-Matsuri firework festival (2014). The single finale shell (48") was estimated to cost approximately $1500.00 USD (about $154,000.00 Yen in 2014). Between the other fireworks (mostly created right there in Katakai), transportation, setup, etc., and bearing in mind that this is only the last ~4mins of the show... this was probably around a $100K show (USD, so again, 2014 Yen: approx $10,247,000.00). And just fyi: not as random an estimate as you might think. I'm a professional pyrotechnician. I work smaller shows than this one but I know what goes into them and what they cost. Scaling up is approximated, of course, but I'd be surprised if I were off by very much.
To the company that was hired to do that show. You are exceptional. That was a fantastic show on you tube. I can only imagine what it must have been in person
This is what they mean when they say "leave it to the professionals". That was perfectly choreographed with big boy fireworks. No cakes in that show, all huge shells!
Just before I actually read any comment; Let's just clarify that this has been shot on a somewhat wideangle lens that doesn't show the whole show justice
That had to be one of the best firework shows I've ever seen. I think I read somewhere that the shell was 1600 pounds, whatever the weight, it was really magnificent.
+Filippo Ferrari When I listen to a fireworks show, it reminds me of a battlefield off in the distance, explosions sounding off in rapid succession. I know, I'm weird.
Not funny.. The Japanese are a wonderful and peaceful people and very polite. Everyone has their history but the Japanese of today are a great example for other countries. World class.
@@hatdestroyer9443 bitches be like "wha- i- how-" Bitch what? Speak. Spit it the fuck out. What do you wanna say?. I'm listening. We're all waiting. And your doing nothing. This is nonsense. You can't even use word anymore. Read a book or go socialize for once damn.
I love that fireworks displays bring thousands & thousands of people together peacefully for a few minutes of spectacular lights & booms. I used to go each year to the one in my city & at least 1/3 of the city would turn out to it. Was really an amazing moment of togetherness. Wasn’t so keen on trying to drive home though lol
Imagine being dead and living in peaceful in heaven where u finally get away from the shts happening in the living world and they decided to nuke you in your sleep. 😐
I have seen several "World's Biggest", and this seemed to be the least spectacular. Nice, but not the "biggest". But it's a great show and was spectacularly recorded! Great job!
