Nebula capsule 3 owner here, portable projectors have so many use cases, camping as example I was watching movies in the tent 😂, Take a bath and watch a movie on the wall, travel with a 120" tv, so many awesome things can be done, thr main issue with these portable projectors is ANSI LUMENS, you really want 2500+ ansi lumens for day/night viewing, well get there, nebula cosmos laser can do it, but its as big as a normal projector

His series of events went, he posted that video on his shorts and it blew up and we were excited to see it. But how was it still unopened in the box still. He seriously went through the effort of putting it back in the box 😂

You could easily travel with it or go out with it and wouldn't have to worry so much about scratches since it's raw metal. Its beautiful!

bluetooth audio for me its just too laggy, you may be able to compensate for a video, if there are settings avaible but for gaming? Thats tuff, would be nice to have a audio output, maybe you can use something on the usbc? Would be nice to know

Specs I could find states brightness is a not too bright 500 nits or 1700 odd lumens. Even in a 100% blacked out room it’s going to be a bit dim.

Projectors need to be 100 inch 8k at this point

500 lumens 💀 I have a $200 projector that does 1080p at that brightness. This is like 6x the price. Only worth it for the industrial design.

Nebula cosmos laser 4k currently is the best portable projector for the money, 4K, LASER, HDR, 2200 ANSI LUMENS, It requires a power source is its only con, no built in battery like the capsule 3

Love everything about it, but the price is way too high for what it is. When the same company sells a 4K 70 inch tv for 550 who in their right mind would pay 1300 for this projector? Plus you need to buy a screen to project it on to...so tack on at least another few hundred dollars...The price is getting closer and closer to LG's top of the line 77 inch oleds...maybe if it hits 500....maybe...

@unboxtherapy. What is justifying the cost? $1,200 is a lot to ask for "portability." I could go to Walmart and pick up a 50- 65 inch for under $300-400. Samsung's Freestyle 2 isnt 4k but is much smaller and has been price reduced from 800 too $600, and for 1080p, I think thats too much as well. When can we get to a point where a product like this can still be portable and 4k but at half the price. There's just too much of a premium being added to the actual value of such a product. Bring the price down a lot, and I would not be surprised to see such things become a staple product.

brightness is what really matters. 500 ansi lumens is shockingly low. There are much much much better portable projectors and in fact with better brightness a 1080p can look much sharper.

500 lumen is not practical in most projector use cases unless you live in a sensory isolated cave.

If the background music has cellos and violins...the product is over 1000 bucks 😂

I'm having an "old" cinebeam 4k laser projector. Altough it has its flaws. It's been working flawlessly for more than 1000 hours. Colors are amazing, blacks are "meh" but it's very bright and no lamp to change! It's also very quiet.

Anyone that expected this to be cheap is a little slow

Laughing at the “high altitude mode” me just living life up here over 10,000’. Guess this one is not for me. Had the same issue with the PS3. Not made to work over 9000’. About 20% of the US population lives above 4000’.
