Worst driving test route in Milton Keynes in my opinion. Starting from the driving test centre in Bletchley at Wilton Avenue. It covers everything from the B & Q twice in different directions and emerging out of closed junctions. Fast road, narrow roads, everything the examiner is looking for is covered in this driving test route in Milton Keynes.

Just wanted to say a couple of words about James. My son couldn't get confidence in his driving and failed previous tests, until he started lessons with James, and only after a few lessons past his test! James is superb, highly recommending him!

I passed my test on a very similar route to this in 1987. Good god I'm old. Great video and very useful for anyone prepping for this.

Oh my, I really do know this route very well as I live nearby.Yet to do my test and I guess my issues will be mainly indicating and observation. If there were indicators on bicycles then I will say it will be ingrained in me as that is my most preferred means of commuting so I have to get in the habit of reminding myself all the time about indicating at roundabouts.Fingers, crossed...

I had my test on similar road but from oposite side. first i join a5 then a5 mc Donalds round about toward Bletchley stadium round about and finished on b&q round about.. and miracle happen i passed 😊

minute 9:01 when you were talking about speed limit. Is it allowed in driving test for driving that fast like 60-70 miles per hour if the actual road condition is good enough. Any recommendation? thanks

If it is safe to drive close to speed limit. On a 70mph road if it’s clear and goes weather then 60mph is ok

Correct me if I am wrong but I think you will still be right if you were in the left lane when approaching the first of the two roundabouts after the hospital leading to Tinkers. If you were in the left on the second then you would not have had to eventually signal to go left on the road as you would already be on it. Is that right or wrong?

Yes you can approach the first on the left lane, then the left lane splits into two. The left side going left and the middle going ahead. As you approach the second roundabout the same happens, except you will need to signal right in the middle lane to take the second exit and signal left to exit roundabout.

Try driving on western road in Bletchley. There are double parked cars. So you need to be looking far ahead and working out if it is safe to go or should you give way.

Sir at 15.00 double mini round about shouldn’t you signal first to right as you pass first one you signal left beucase the sign shows the second exit after 12 o clock. I am confused

On the second roundabout to turn right. You signal right on approach and signal left to exit.

if you change line in spiral rouanabout do you need to give signal if you move to next line

If you change lanes with the spiral, then no. If you change lanes in the lanes then yes.

Sir can we do tinkers Bridge double roundabout 1st one in middle lane and 2nd one in middle lane as well l know we are taking 2nd exit but lane marking are telling us to take middle lane

Just failed my test , through the majority of this route, only one serious, unfortunately the way I went was altered slightly and so I went through a narrowed speed bump area where I hit the speed bump too harshly. Other than that one serious I got two minors, feels like luck wasn’t on my side today.

What do you do when you want to go straight but your in right hand lane only?

You go right if the lane is right turn only.

If you are in the right lane and wait for traffic on your left to let you back in to the left, then you would get a serious fault for being in the wrong lane and if traffic is behind you would also get a serious fault for holding up traffic

At 30 miles a road what if you do 31 or 32 is that a serious fault?

If you don’t start to slow down and keep increasing to 33 then a serious. If you spot you are just going over speed limit and slow then a driving fault.
