I'll grant this video one thing (that I think we might all agree on) those "hell-hounds" are 💩. What wasn't mentioned, was the fact that the man who designed the hell-hounds has admitted he didn't give the film his full attention because he was working on another film sequel and it received most of his attention. That other movie was 1986's: ALIENS.

Wut???? Freddy is undoubtedly probably the scariest in this film. Dream Child, Freddy's Dead, and the NoES remake are all worse.

Part 2 was considered one of the best and had most of Freddys iconic scenes and lines until the internet hit and the movie got labeled a gay movie. Then it wasnt cool to like it. And here we are.

Actually, it's the best Nightmare movie.

It's superfluous, you can skip over it and go straight to P.3 and miss nothing. But it's FAR from the worse. FREDDY'S DEAD is beyond cringe worthy! I was 21 when it came out and I saw it in theaters, the lame 3-D gimmick DIDN'T EVEN WORK! It was distorted and it gave me a headache! Even if you ignore that, it had a awful cameo with Johnny Depp (who, as everyone knows, was "introduced" as an actor in the 1st film) and had one of the actors fron the iconic '79 masterpiece: ALIEN (Yaphet Kotto) and waisted him! The Roseanne Barr/Tom Arnold cameo hasn't aged very well, modern viewers watching that scene are left confused and perplexed, asking: 'what the hell was that about?' I revisited the movie ONCE on VHS and I've never watched it again. It's an embarrassment!!

Stranger Things’ whole storyline with Will Byers is a long-form (and bigger budget) homage/reboot of this movie: Awkward, closeted, gay teenage boy in the mid-‘80s, haunted by a demonic spirit that’s trying to use his fears as a gateway into the world.
