"It's an MMO law that we need to kill some boars" is reminding me of the joke in LOTRO where you're given a timed quest to kill some boars in the *only* region of the game where there are *no* boars. When the timer runs out-and there's nothing to stop you doing other, more useful things in the meantime-you return to the quest-giver who is incredulous that you couldn't find any and moans about wanting some delicious boar-steak. Later in the game someone else asks you to kill some boars in preparation for a banquet and then asks why you are laughing…
It's an mmo law that every MMO needs a spider related monster. Same as any anime there has to be a monkey with staff. (Even as unknown, unrelated forgotable character it has to be shown once)
Hanuman/Monkey King feels like the Eastern version of the Merlin/Dumbledore trope - in every Western MMO there must be a wizened old man with a robes and white beard that does magic.
i cant remember my 2 favorite animes having beach episode or hot spring episode. A-channel and clannad. clannad has been sitting for a while as my favorite anime of all time, no doubt.
There are a couple generic early game enemies, both on MMOs and singleplayer RPGs. Typically wolves, slimes, rats, boars, etc. Stuff that is relatively normal and harmless. And in some cases they even deconstruct the whole thing. Like the first fighters guild quest in Oblivion. Some lady has problems with the rats in her basement. They are her pets and are getting killed by mountain lions. So you have to head out and get rid of the mountain lions, not the rats. And a good twist would be to have that kind of "wolves are dangerous, go kill 20 wolves" and when you've looked everywhere and return to tell the questgiver there aren't any wolves anywhere on the map, the NPC will thank you for killing ALL the wolves.
@@Salsmachev yah, just very average. Edit: though I think it actually looks really nice, it might just be personal taste but I Think the lighting is gorgeous.
Riders of Icarus' biggest standout from other MMOs that are similar is the mount system, it's extensive. Very extensive. You can tame almost any animal in the game, including huge world bosses. But this difference is also what made the game kind of bad, because taming many of the high tier mounts almost REQUIRES you to buy a specific item from the in-app shop. You technically CAN tame these bosses without it, but it would take literally dozens and dozens of attempts, and all the while you're competing with other players to tame these high tier mounts. I spent the better part of about 2500 hours playing the English version of RoI, and at the time had quite a bit of disposable income, so I spent an inordinate amount of cash on the game, I enjoyed the shit out of it, maybe not quite enough to warrant my expenditure, but it definitely made the game more fun. Sad thing is, the English servers have since been shut down so all the investment is now gone. A lesson learned, I no longer invest heavily in games with in-app purchases.
Gotta give the game credit for making a lot of the game understandable even if you can't read it. Interact with NPC that has an icon above their head. Click the obvious gold text icon to start a quest, click on the glowing sparkly boxes to collect stuff for the quest. Like, the fact that you don't even need to read a SINGLE bit of text in this game to still be able to play it...that's pretty damn good game design if you ask me. Everything can be picked up and figured out based entirely on visuals and context. The only thing is though... that does kinda prove a point about how copy/paste MMOs are nowadays. The fact that you can pretty much get the EXACT SAME amount of enjoyment from a game even when you're missing about 99.5% of text and are just running around doing whatever makes sense in an MMO.... kinda proves that there's something wrong. It shows both, how well the devs made everything so it's super easy to understand and figure out, and just how generic these games can be where you don't even need text to know what to do.
28:15 game programmer here, seems like you found the perfect spot to see shadow draw distance not just as a circle on the ground, but as a rectangular segment of a sphere area that it actually is.
@@Kpop_stole_foids_fromcurrycell And as we could see, having the game design be the same as everyone else means previous experience has more influence than intuitive design.

The language of question marks, also a number of botw players say playing it in a different language makes it better cause you can't understand how bad the voice acting is
I'm from Russia, and when I was a kid, half of my Dendy (Russian/Chinese NES clone) were either in Chinese, or Japanese, I still have no idea which. And let me tell you, we had fun with them!
29:30 "Their only real risk was the taming and mounting system and I wish they had done more with that" - He says as he kills a boss spider that, once weakened, you can literally tame/mount. Like, it's actually kind of astonishing how many mobs in this game you CAN turn into a mount. I remember playing this game pretty extensively and collecting so many of them.
@@GamePandaXXL I wouldn't have, & I'm sure many people wouldn't have realised it. I didn't know you could ride the bears & deer in Breath of the Wild until like three years into owning the game
@@BooksandBuns i mean im someone that grew up with Pokemon and im an achievement hunter to the max.. so having a tame mechanic means im gonna try and tame everything i see. but after the boss boar im really irritated he didnt even try it again
Wait... wait... this is called Riders of Icarus. Riders. RIDERS. The focus of the game is collecting mounts. The rest of the game is so generic because it's about letting players have any mount or pet, that other games have you pay for. I love it.
I now want to see an anime where the main character doesn't understand the language that everyone else is speaking, yet he still always manages to do the right thing
There actually IS a Manga similar to this. Classic Isekai stuff but the goddess who summoned the MC thought he was too ugly so she never blessed him with basic language skills for the New world. All he understands at first is Monsters. Everything from there is more or less basic OP Main Character Stuff but it is interesting i'd say.
Theres a third option on the whole "we crashed and now theres a campsite thing" that i think quite a lot of game devs use, "you were knocked out for longer than the game portrays and they built the camp while you were out" which is slightly better than the other options but is still a pet peeve of mine.
That's my favourite because it implies that you were unconscious for at least 40 minutes or so and they just left you lying in the dirt in full armour on your back or face, and then when you woke up after such a long period of unconsciousness the response is always essentially "oh good you're up, go get me some wood."
@@derinedala5032 I don't think these people realise how bad that would be. if you lose conciseness for more than a few minutes the risk of permanent brain damage is extremely high.
To be fair all the glowing objects and the pictures help a lot, you can't do the same with other mmorpg or at least not with every quest, they made a really good job making it really intuitive.
@@TheModernGafa If anyone can pull it off I'd say the creators of Journey and Sky could do it. Half their game is symbols and telling stories through showing rather than telling.
This should be an anime where the MC is seen as mysterious and never talks but it's because he has no idea what anyone is speaking and is just trying to get home.

Guys you're all wrong. All RPG have a treasure hidden behind a waterfall. Except, it's usually one or two waterfall in the entire world -- or it would get stale quickly. So, no treasure behind that waterfall doesn't mean there is none. Even the marvel that are Skyrim and Elden Ring let most of their waterfalls untreasured.
it's actually quite nice. Been playing the game for a few hours and you can tame almost everything. You even get achivements for taming specific monsters in a certain area, like titles. But you can't tame everything just like that, since some monsters have conditions for it. Like have this item (that you'd only get through a quest from this npc) or have gathered this specific thing that the monster likes or have killed this type before to gain dominance or have inflicted this amount of dmg beforehand. Also you can attack from and with your mount, which comes in handy during later stages where airial battle is introduced
@@May-Hope Agreed, I haven't played it for quite a while now, but I used to spend a lot of time on the game. When asked what sets the game apart, from others, the mounts are definitely one of the things that I'd offer as an answer. Personally, I wish we could do maybe a bit more with the mounts, as you can't do a lot when first starting off, and even then it takes a while to learn the necessary skills to attack with your mount. You'll end up getting mostly flying mounts anyway, since they can reach places quicker and are much more helpful. I've wished for such a game for ages, so I absolutely loved it, but I will say, it can get boring after a while. Despite the mounts, it's a generic MMO which requires you to spend way too much time on certain stuff. Overall, I did like it quite a lot, but I'm also not exactly surprised when people get bored of it.
Icarus is the only MMO that has that mechanic for free. It's sad the game is dead and broken because of the new owners. Well, it was dead way before it got sold...
@FiestaFrankah I will explain the joke. The guy said that like world war one this game uses carrier pigeons to send messages. A carrier pigeon is a bird with a note tied to its legs and flys to a location it is trained to remember. As you can imagine this is not very fast for autherizing new players into the server.
"A wooden ballista bolt hits the wooden deck of a wooden ship, and so of course, they explode into flames!" yeah, that bit of this cutscene confuzzled me
One year later, but I just realized something: This is the PERFECT way to test a MMO and see if the ingame systems are still operational and approachable.
As a Russian, I'm chuckling like a madman right now :D Btw, the lady was constantly saying "You have no target selected" P.S. It just occured to me... that's exactly how Russians who dunno English at all must see every single eu/us mmorpg without the localization - like a total mish-mashed clusterfuck of unknown symbols... ha. Funny actually xD
Josh : "Look at my horse, my horse is amazing" Me : "Give it a lick" Josh : "Ha huh, All the old people in the audience just sang the next line .." Me : "Damn ..."
I do like the idea of a main character hero who has no clue what hes doing, where he is or why hes doing it, but accidentally manages to save the world
Here in Brazil we had a server localy. The company behind the game here (Gameflip), made the game more difficult increasing the damage we took, the mobs health and the experience that we obtained from quest's was decrease. They also made the game FULL F2P, without any P2W. So, the game was a huge sucess here, but then VALOFE got the license to publish the game and ruined everything.
Interesting, im brazillian and i don't think i have ever heard of this mmo before. The biggest mmo hits that i know of in this country are Ragnarok and Tibia.
19:06 "I kick a wolf to death. That sounds like a very Russian thing to do." - I lost it there. So damn funny. And yes very true. Generic gameplay? Absolutely, but so good to listen to the commentary.
Учитывая, что вы не говорите по-русски и вам пришлось проходить эту игру с такой большой форой, вы действительно неплохо поработали! Благодарю вас Josh Strife Hayes :)
My takeaway is that getting mounts by taming them is an amazing mechanic. It's functionally similar to a hunter taming pets, but for mounts. More games should have this.
That what it feels like to be a child in a non English speaking country, being too young to learn English and playing a game that has not been translated from English to your language
??????, ??? ??? ????? ???? ?????... o, right, sorry. Hi, glad I stumbled щт your channel, great content. Hope you get lot more subs. Hello from Russia, ?????.
This is so much funnier if you think of the main character as an insane foreigner who doesn't speak the land's native language and is just doing all these things and quests because they look fun. "Oh a unicorn! Let's ride it!" "Oh a giant rhino man, let's kill him!" "I don't know what you just said, man in armor, but I'm gonna go blow up those ballistae, thanks for the bombs!"
When he said "I'm old too", I laughed and subsequently died a little inside knowing that I once listened to a 12 hour version of Amazing Horse non-stop. Anyway, every game should be intuitive enough to play without language understanding to some degree!
"How would Tera do this?" OK, I lol'ed. Also, I almost want to play this game, this video and the one covering Tera in 2021 gave me a lot of nostalgia.
TERA is a Good MMO wrapped in so much bad execution its honestly impressive. Like, give me a WoW-killer scale MMO with TERA gameplay and actually follow the design principles set out by that combat system. implement primarily real armor but add a few fanservice options. Let people do full color armor dye. Do a simplified equipment system of like, 8 slots. and make the slots work like WoW Trinkets.
Honestly, this game is far, far away from being the worst MMO ever. Obviously it have some problems like optimization and traduction to spanish, but the fact that is based on mounts makes the game fun and different, at least for me.
If he picked the actual worst MMORPGs, he wouldnt have many views given how obscure the really, really bad MMORPGs are. He has to grow the channel more before he gets to the real trash. :) I've played a few early alpha small team MMORPGs where there is so little that works that it's debatable whether the software claiming to be an MMORPG is even a game.
My friend introduced me to this game when it first launched and let me tell you it was great, there were less bugs and it wasnt p2w as it is now, we spent so many hours on this game, then after a while we lost interest and stopped playing, a few years later we decide to play again and we return to this steaming pile. To say we were disappointed was an understatement.
Had over 200 hours in game and I had lots of fun with it until they deleted my account, switched over servers like 5 times and changed companies over as well, started out as a good game with good mechanics and after like 2017 it all went to shit.
You didnt miss much - the story is about as standard as they come. My copy of Riders of Icarus updated and also wouldnt connect when I tried a few days ago.
Honestly it's kinda cool that you did as well as you did without being able to read it. It looks like a lot of it was tropes like how to use the menus but some aspects seem like they were intuitive like color usage.
You can't tame tagris anymore because back in around 2018 Nexon gifted everyone in the server 10 tagris taming marks, making the marks cheaper and easily exploitable. 1 group of people seem to tame tagris everyday.
I genuinely loved this game at launch and some time later too, but sadly it become more and more p2w. And then the VALOFE nation attacked and everything changed for the worse.
"Full uninstall. Full reinstall. And guess what?" Ad: "IF YOU'VE GOT A PACK OF HOTDOGS IN THE KICTHEN, TOSS THEM IN THE TRASH" I love it when ads do this
That was great. I think your extensive MMO and tutorial background definitely helped. As a non MMO player there was an equal amount of stuff I could have figured out versus stuff that was just too opaque. Which I take it to mean that there was some intuitive design and some MMO convention mixed together.
@@therealharshlycritical Honestly, from the video it seems like the only problems with this game are that it didn't work in the English version and it hewed very close to convention in the gameplay. It's legitimate to ask whether being conventional is really all that bad. After all, many games, films, books, etc. manage to be fantastic and also very conventional. By the same token you can create shit if you do things just for the sake of defying convention without attention to storytelling. All quests in MMORPGs are talk/go/fetch/kill quests, but what makes them good or bad is the writing- which we can't access because it's in Russian and JSH doesn't have a Cyrillic font.
this is what happens when common sense and games meet, you can figure everything out! i thought taming and collecting all the mounts is great! carried a crap game for me for 4 months i think it was. the game itself is pretty crap outside that. i hate all these little girl classes in games, its really becoming a big problem now
Loving these videos! MMOs i recommend for this series: • PWI • fiesta • wizard101 • pirate101 • aura kingdom And i recommend these not cause theyre bad or anything of that sort but theyre classic games and some of which still have populations going till this day
Fiesta Online has a (relatively) thriving private server community too. It's fascinating to find MMORPGs like that where I personally don't like the game at all, yet others play the game for over a decade and still find enjoyment in it. Pirate101.. might as well add another pirate game to your list: Pirates of the Burning Seas. Now that I think about it.. every single pirate-themed MMORPG would probably be appropriate for this series, even if I do enjoy quite a few of them.
i used to play this game a year or 2 so ago, my main reason was just the taming system, though that got repetitive quickly, as half the mounts were missing atleast some animations, the game was boring as hell since all the quests were "kill this many of this" or "interract with this sparkly thing" and they never even tried any other quest type, they kept reusing models for mounts and just recoloring them eventhough this game is supposed to have many "unique" mounts, and the sheer lazyness of the design gets clearer and clearer the longer you go on for, and ontop of lazy design its also full of bugs, and most of the bugs they "patch" by removing the feature that caused it, like being able to ride one mount with several people (this was only for 3 or so mounts), but they removed it because player positions got bugged. i really dont recommend this game to anyone at all.
Any idea what he was supposed to do for that one quest that he couldn't figure out then? Wondering if since he just got the chain attack, he was supposed to chain them once they started to run away, but i'm also assuming he tried that out first.
This is my fav mmo, i don't know what do you expect?? Killing mobs and interacting is literally every mmo. they reused same animation because its the same type of mount but different tier. this is basically complaining for complain sake.
@@OxOx_XoXo1 you either haven't played many MMO's or Haven't played many good ones. an MMO with Killing mobs and interacting is like a plain piece of bread. congrats on having food but you probably want more than just this. the mount system was like discovering Strawberry Jam for the first time. Really cool but even still your gonna want variety before long. most MMO's even bad ones have quite a few different kinds of quests and mechanics. to be fair to this game it is entirely possible there were some he could not figure out on account of not being able to launch the version in a language he could understand. but from what we saw this was a basic if good looking MMO. not bad but not good either. certainly doesn't deserve the title of worst (which is what he thought about a couple of other games in this series.) just off the top of my head for things this game is missing to be even a basic MMO where are the Raids?, Dungeons?, Group content in general? PVP arena? overworld events? Optional Bosses? Traversal Challenges? Faction Events? basically all of the Massively Multiplayer Elements of the Massively Multiplayer Online Genre are missing from this game. I expect a game I download to launch. Killing mobs leveling up and interacting with stuff as you put it is but a tiny part of the RPG part of an MMORPG. it is by no means all that an MMO is as you asserted. in some MMO's it isn't even included. MMO simply means Massively Multiplayer Online. a game that involes mass Interaction but no RPG elements would be an MMO though those are rare these days as WOW popularized the idea that MMO's should be RPG's No one is saying this is litterally the worst MMO of all time. In fact he was quite complimentary compared to most of the MMO's in this series. what this game does well it does really well. I would even go so far as to say it is a good game (when it deigns to launch) with a unique mount system but that doesn't make it a good MMO nor even an MMO at most it is a passable Online RPG. and even then it is a pretty basic one. If you love the game that is fine. I am happy for you. but don't be surprised when you ask what we expect and then get a response that lists what I expected and didn't find.
I often forget which MMORPG is which out of numerous titles with the format of of -- Echo of Soul, Crusaders of Light, Champions of Titan, Riders of Icarus, Return of Warrior, Tree of Savior, Runes of Magic, etc. If it wasn't for Meg loving dragons and me keeping a list of dragon-centric MMORPGs for that purpose -- I'd likely not remember anything about this one either. Mediocre MMORPGs are the worst, given there's usually nothing so terrible about the games to be unintentionally amusing nor anything that's legitimately fun. I've enjoyed my time with Rebirth Online and Bloodlines of Prima more than the mediocre titles of this series, given the horrific games are full of baffling design choices, broken systems, and unintentionally comical writing.
if mag loves dragons, play "dragons prophet." it isnt as good story / dungeon / itemgrind wise, but its super in dragon taming and crossbreeding :D . also the housing and armor customization has a good implementation. the daily login rewards are shit though (kinda what made me quit and come back to ROI- together with the fighting system etc)
@@kliersheed We already do.:) There's a private server for dragon's prophet given the live servers are shut down. Her favorite is actually Istaria because you can actually play as as a dragon. Dragons have their own skill trees, crafting systems, etc. I wouldn't recommend Istaria to most people, but if you want something unique and are willing to look past painfully dated mechanics (and a UI that was never good), it's fun. We typically make our own story and don't care about dungeons or gear grinding, which is probably why we have a preference for DP over RoI. One of these days I'll give RoI a more thorough playthrough, though.
I played Riders Of Icarus when it first launched for the west under Nexon, and I'm in shock that the new publisher actually managed to make it worse. Before it had overpriced loot boxes, gold spammers flooding the chat, and random lag spikes, but it was at least playable.
I played RoI back when it first came out. I even spent £75 on their Legendary Riders Pack before it entered Open Beta. Unfortunately I had to drop the game for several years after 2017 due to real life circumstances. Seeing this video actually made me want to go back and pick it up, now that a lot of stuff has finally settled down. Only to discover Nexon didn't keep up the contract, that the publisher changed hands, and that Nexon DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO EMAIL ME ABOUT MIGRATING MY ACCOUNT. Apparently my entire RoI (and the admittedly hundreds of dollars I spent on it) are literally fucking deleted, lost forever, because neither Nexon nor new publisher Valofe ever sent me an email. Nothing. Not a single email saying "By the way if you don't migrate accounts, your Icarus data is being deleted and fuck you, thanks for the money." I'm beyond angry. I genuinely enjoyed Icarus too, is the worst part, it wasn't the worst obviously Korean game I'd ever played (and I liked it more than TERA, to be honest.) I think I need to give up on games that feature mount and mount based combat. First it was Dragon's Prophet and now it's RIders of Icarus. How do these people keep fucking up these games and stealing my money like this.
Would you recommend some beastmaster/riding MMO that you find good? I love things where you can tame fantasy creatures and use them in various situations, but those games do tend to have their issues.
Riders of Icarus It's like the only game that let's you tame and mount almost EVERYTHING. One of the early game bosses(Vulcan) is tamable, you get him at level 30 or something around that, pretty sure most of the bosses are tamable. The only thing that makes Icarus bad is how much the new owners screwed it up... Buggy as hell and way more p2w than it was.
If you're still wondering, beside ROI, Theres Dragon's Prophet (Legacy), a similar taming mechanic MMO with a way more interactive Minigame but like the title says, they're DRAGONS, which isn't a Bad Thing of course. Give it a try, atleast in DP you Don't need Marks or RNG to tame dragons, If you're high enough Level you can get almost any Dragon.
This is why only few MMOs are still alive because they have their own identity or they are the ones who set the standard for that certain mechanic. For example, wow has its dungeon and raids or Black desert has its combat system. I think if they did more of perfecting a certain mechanic rather than cramping all it in just to have quantity, MMOs will be a much more alive genre in gaming market. It's more of finding a demographic than trying to please everyone because it usually ends to pleasing no one.
Who needs innovation when you can just slap an M on the title and port it to mobile? That's where the bulk of money is in the market - the Asian mobile market.
"I'm just going to play this game as if it was Tera..." You're wearing too much clothing for it to be Tera. Also, here in the states, during September (and likely soon), you'd need that mace to first procure some Toilet paper. You're not likely to get any without one.
Something I noticed playing the English/ international version of the game is that some quests seem to vary depending on the class you're playing. I started a wizard and a berserker and played both to lvl 5 and while you're sent to the same areas the quests on the areas are not always the same. For instance, on the battlefield as the wizard it asks me to use my fire spells to detonate the explosives some enemies carry (gotta stack 3 burning debuffs on them) but as the berserker it asks me to destroy the barricades. I dunno if this goes on through the whole game, but I thought that's an awesome design.
Want to look into Allods Online? Love this game despite it being a nightmare for new players. Either they join a P2W f2p server or a sadly dead p2p server.
This review makes me wonder if it would work as a movie plot. Average guy is summoned to fantasy world as the chosen one hero of saving things, but he doesn't speak the language. He is a fish out of water who just kind of guesses his way through the entire plot, based solely on his knowledge of adventure movies and games. Maybe a friend of his would be summoned as well to be his side kick and provide some actual dialogue opportunity.
I could see this become a manga named "I got Isekai'd but I don't know the language! So I guess my way through it with what I know of isekai manga!" Funnily enough 99% of isekai mangas are so similar with plot points that I "read" some of them without english translations and got the general plot.
Ironically, this game somehow had some of the fanciest gear systems of any MMO I've played before. You could tame animals/monsters/bosses of all kinds, and each one would be in a category of stat from 'All Stats', ' Attack Damage', 'Health', 'Mana', 'Defence', usually in theme with their kind, like dragons would be 'AD', bosses would be mostly 'All Stats' (from how rare they are), bears and tanky animals would be 'Defence', mythical creatures with magical references would usually be 'Mana', and so on... You could then tame them, use them as mount, and from riding them or doing mounted combat with them, they would level up over time, and then at specific levels like 10 - 20 - 40... you could use an item called a 'Seal', that would turn each mount into a socket based on their level and nature, and some of the Epic to Legendary gear had 1-3 sockets available per gear slot, each socket could also be sold in the Auction House, and when the game first came out the AH was very active around this. On top of that you could salvage your useless gear for these Stones that worked as gear upgrades, you could get stones between lvl 5 up to like lvl 120+ depending on what gear you salvaged, and what this meant was for you to upgrade from +1 to +3 or +4 you could use the lower level stones that matched the item level of your gear, but as they got to like +5 and over up to +8 (I think) the % of upgrade would be highly dependent on the lvl 120+ (rarer) stones. This was fairly good for AH movement too, each useless off-piece you got from raiding with wrong stats would be insanely meaningful if anything to be salvaged for these stones. I played this for like 250hours way back, when it came out the lvl cap was 25, then 30, then 35 and so on, I quit when it was lvl 35 cap, and up until then I have to say, it was a very fun game, from a "pokemon" like mount hunting standpoint, some of the boss like mount captures had you do questlines and travel to specific parts of the map where a specific resource spawns only there, and you had to collect those and craft items that would be consumed after you lowered the boss health and tried to capture it. Funnily enough the only 2 major complaints I had about this game was how it always ran like shit, trash optimization, and 2nd one being the universal mounted up skill set, which was so strong it didn't really matter what class you chose you'd always favor mounted combat over regular class combat (aside from non-mountable locations which were rare), , because of the heavy AoE ans solo target dps it offered in general was so much stronger than anything else from your class. Some minor complaints would be, it's a Nexon game, and granted I played it without spending a dime and could compete with everyone that used the cash store, it's usually at the expense of hundreds of hours of work vs. a few hours of spending IRL money, both that and having to deal with some limited bag/bank space, which it's manageable although sometimes annoying. ------ Tl;dr: Game that had some good though and process behind it's gimmick gear mechanics, but as usual went to waste due to Nexon being behind it, as well as bad optimization (sadly).
This reminds me of the time I played Blade&Soul on a Russian private server about 2 years before ncsoft finally decided to do an official EU release. The game was rudimentary translated into faulty English, with some parts being in Russian and other parts + voice-over still in Korean. 😂 But I did well.
I am here MONTHS late, but I vividly remember really good memories from this game from around 2017-18 I think. Spent a lot of nights up with it. This makes me sad that it broke this bad, but I also remember accidentally releasing a rare mount and ragequiting so badly that I never went back. User error, yes, but it was effective.
