I know very little about computers. I'm 69 years old. But watching these scam video is teaching me what to watch out for. It's scary what these scammer can do. Thank you guys for the effort you put into this. I love it when you call the victim and stop the scam.

You don't have to know anything about computers at all. You just need to keep your cool, don't panic regardless of whatever threats the potential scammers make, and use you common sense when dealing with anyone over the phone, email, or internet. Never give anyone, anywhere, any personal information any time you can't 100% verify that they are legitimate. No legitimate company will ever have you install software while on the phone with you to "fix" your computer, "transfer" funds, ask for account passwords, or SS #, and most certainly they will never have you wire funds, send cash to them by mail, or have you buy any kind of gift cards whatsoever, regardless of what company they may claim they work for or how much personal information they may already have about you. If someone contacts you wanting you to do any of those things, they are guaranteed scammers. Just ignore them and contact the police and give them any details you can.

I so wish I'd seen this last year. I was targeted by these scammers recently and was taken in at first, but in fact my low skills on computers actually helped me! I didn't lose any money and suddenly realised these people were posing as Amazon Prime agents. Bravo for being a thorn in the side of those bastards!

It always boggles my mind how scammers have the nerve to get all crazy , swear and complain when they know they're being messed with and say "you are not a real person" . Are they not pretending to be Americans working for a real company offering a real service, and instead stealing peoples money, and that's okay? They really are living in their own world. The best thing is when Pierogi tells them their exact location and shirt color. : >D The subtitles are great also.

.I almost fell victim twice once for the Amazon and that was because I just put in an order. I watched your videos and you saved me. The other was the Microsoft one. I've learned to read the e-mails to see how they're written you catch all the errors in the way they write and the spelling. So God Bless for all that you do for educating and saving victims. Not all hero's wear capes.

Thankfully I have mastered the signature of Narendra modi and several other Indian government officials. I just received the shipment of Indian government stamps courtesy of my friend who works for a rubber stamp company. I will be in personating several Indian government officials and causing tactical mayhem across the entire country. These scammers don't know what they are in for and then some.

I was conned out of $350USD [I am Aus] in December 2020 from a Forex Crypto scam. I got my money back though by contacting my bank a day after sending across the money and opened a dispute. The bank basically withdraws the money from the scammer [provided you have proof of the transaction] and returns it to your account. You can dispute transactions days after, even a day or so after the 'Transaction Pending' deadline.

When they get angry they do redirecting thinking errors. You are good with redirecting them back to the issue. It is fun to watch. Reminds me of when I worked in prison and how inmates try to gain control over you but when you do not react to their anger engagement they realize they have no control they lose their mind. You stay in complete control. I love it when you point out their disrespect in their own language. They cannot hide anymore

Ikr, it's so bizarre! They KNOW they're scamming, but instead of feeling ashamed or remorseful when they're caught, they sperg out. It's like they're sociopaths who don't care about anyone but themselves. If I'd tried to steal something from someone and they caught me (or even if they didn't catch me!) I'd feel remorseful and regretful. Scammers like this don't have any conscience.

I had an ACER about 6 years ago. It was really before the scammers really got rolling. They were around, but not big yet. I stupidly called the 1st Microsoft support number and I got one of these scammers. I really thought they were Microsoft support. I let them do whatever they wanted on my computer. The problem was, this computer was in really bad shape, there was nothing for them to get. The scammer got angry with me because he thought I was messing with him. Anyway he kept trying to find stuff on my computer and got angrier by the minute. He kept at it for about 2 hours. He cursed at me and asked me what I did to my computer. I said, I told you this computer is really messed up, it won't do anything. He got angry and hung up on me.

Hi there I’m in the UK and I was watching your video when I got THE EXACT CALL! The exact script. I tried to keep it going for a while but I lost my temper & ending up cursing them!! I agree with (your) Brandon, if someone knows how I travel to work, and what floor I'm on and what I'm wearing, even if I'm not doing something wrong, I'M FREAKIONG OUT ON THE INSIDE. He misheard when you said 1932 as he tries to pass it off as 1992 when amazon started. I think he was really going for the 1932 policy was due to amazon starting but got his dates mixed up. I'm sure the 1932 refund policy was designed with "online shopping" in mind 60 years before a functioning internet.

I have dealt with these people before when they was running the Windows Server scam. That is why I don't have a web cam. I asked one the other day if he was embarrassed, or was his parents embarrassed that he try to scam people. He said it was none of my business. Priceless.

I'm not computer 🖥️💻 savvy but I have had someone call me at the restaurant I work at and try to scam me. Watching videos you and Kitboga have made has really helped me to watch what to look for

It’s amazing they act like they are offended that supposed to be you were cheating them out of something it amazes me how they feel so come to it that when they know how much thousands of dollars they stole her father people but yet that her acting like they’re absolutely hurt because you caught on to what they were doing
