I can feel ya! 😭😭😭😭 You opinions are so honest, no one is talking about these worst Overhyped products, the rearth rhythm and biore uv one is a true story!!
Yessss , i don't know why all are giving very good reviews on earth rhythm ,yes it is light weight but it leaves a veryy greasy finish and makes my face very very dull and dark even i have dry skin on my cheeks
Finding sunscreen for oily skin is very difficult..because majority of them claims to be used for oily skin and greasy too. White cast is another issue
@@AboliA then which sunscreen are you using right now even have the same skin problem and also all the sunscreens making my skin more darker. do u have any recommendations?
Very good video 👍👍...points are so valid Word of advice though...the three finger rule is a marketing gimmick not backed by any research...it is highly promoted by Instagram gurus just to make more sales....it all comes down to the texture and the consistency of your product for quantity and exposure of skin to apply sunscreen
Hello 😊 I don't think that it's a marketting gimmick because the quality is derived from how sunscreens are formulated. To get the amount of protection that is written on the label one must use the amount on which the testing (SPF) is done. The rationale is that the whole area should be equally covered with the chemical and physical filters. To get that, amount is crucial. According to the area of our face and neck approximately 1/4 teaspoon is required. 1/4 teaspoon is approximately 3 fingers. Please check this out: ru-vid.comdTLxpaCjwWA?feature=share According to me this school of thought is logical. Let me know what you think about this.
I absolutely agree on the Biore Sunscreen. It was way too greasy for me during summers. The earth Rhythm one I agree it's greasy but I find it quite comfortable during winters for my combination skin😅
Thank God someone said negative about earth rhythm....i was so confused when i bought earth rhythm sunscreen because it was not what I heard about it....i have combination acne prone skin more on dry side and it made me look like a greaseball and i also think it broke me out....also yes it is sticky and heavy and greasy
@@AboliA but they have reformulated it and now it comes in tube packaging...do you think they have improved it?....also they have launched a mineral one also and it is said to be water resistant
Earth rhythm had changed the formula and texture in the batches around November ... many youtuber and consumers raised this point to the company.. company has changed the formula back to the previous one .... Package is changed to pump tube format.... Earth rhythm sent replacement for those batches... i know all of these because I got the replacements when I had mailed them
Hi, I have oily skin and I live in a super hot and humid part of the country. I'm ecstatic about the aqualogica hydrate sunscreen, the green one. Also, the Dermaco 1% hyaluronic acid aqua gel is good. That said, ER suits me in the drier winter months
I have normal acne prone skin But luckily I found my holy grail sunscreen after watching Rubina ma'am's video I am in love with lacto calamine sunscreen....it gives zero white cast and leaves skin dewy.... Its sad that it doesn't suit oily skin type people 🤧
@@gateaspirant2383 Rubina Guleria...She has her youtube channel by the same name and she makes video regarding skincare, haircare which is packed with facts
Hey...tbh you were honest from start to end. Few products which other people love would end up being troublesome for us because skincare is subjective. Many times I buy products due to Instagram skincare reels and RU-vid videos of skincare bloggers they loved but I end up with rashes and acne. I totally respect you for being honest keep it up❤.
I have oily sensitive acne prone skin.. my dermat recommended me Episoft AC SPF 30 sunscreen and I am in love with it. I am on the 4th tube and i can swear by that..
This video is an eye opener. Very helpful suggestions..a friend of mine suggested me to use Thrive Co sunscreen gel. I am.super happy..it provides protection against harmful rays and is non sticky
Dr. Sheth's Sunscreen SPF 50 does its job. Its texture is similar to shiseido's mineral sunscreen. To hide the white cast, i use tinted sunscreen from Harkoi or Sandiva (use a shade darker than your skin tone).
@@AboliA Totally understand the cosmetic elegance thingy. Earlier I used imported tinted sunscreens that worked but was always in a look out for something affordable at home. Was quite impressed with the performance of Dr Sheth's mineral sunscreen, as it delivers & suits my tretinoin-sensitized skin. As a work around...I layer two sunscreens for protection and appearance. For people who wish to avoid applying a tinted sunscreen over the white one, a mineral-based powder foundation (in many shades) from tinge/vert/ecoberry/just herbs ....does the trick. Again I totally understand when people want one product to deliver multiple things...but such products are costly. Gud luk :)
I felt d same about Biore essence spf..it FEELS light but LOOKS so shiny!! Also i bought d earth rhythm becoz of d crazy hype.. it Both FELT nd LOOKED greazy on my skin!!
I have combination skin and I don’t like Earth rhythm’s sunscreen at all, even the la shield one. The la shield one isn’t at all matte. I like the requil ones both ultra matte and tinted one and dermaco one but not extreme warm weather of India and even though i stay in air conditioning most of the time as i work from home. Plum ones aren’t good at all.
Now I'm using Neutrogena. Saw many comments both supporting and opposing Neutrogena for oily skin. But till now ,my oily skin doesn't made an issue. Looking forward for saying my own opinion
@@AnkitaBaka no ,it's not good .it has very sticky nature. Not suitable for humid conditions. I have super oily skin too.and i hate being sticky nature after application of moisturiser and sunscreen.and I'm using the dermaco sunscreen, it's good (80-90%) .for me it giving me white cast(mine is dark to brown skin )and sticky nature lil bit .
Oh my God yes! That earth rhythm one is literally a disaster and so many of my friends use that fix derma one. I bought it on their recommendation and my skin was literally dry. I mean i have freaking oily acne prone skin. Pustules are popping whenever they want on my skin! I tried this one and i had a pustule on my face and holy heck it was just giving me that tightening feeling it's like someone had stripped my skin off any oils. My four most favorite sunscreens are the Derma Co 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen Aqua Ultra Light Gel With Spf 50 PA++++ For broad spectrum, Aqualogica Hydrate + Sunscreen, Minimalist Multi-vitamin SPF 50 PA++++ For Complete Sun Protection and the Re'equil Oxybenzone And Omc Free Sunscreen SPF 50 Pa++++. These works the best for me!
You'll never understand the extent of my love for you Aboli, i appreciate you for being so fkn honest with us !! I trust you girl because everyone one literally every one so obsessed with dr sheth sunscreen like it's so hyped I don't understand why so bought that worst sunscreen and i regret purchasing that !!
I have used wishcare sunscreen on my oily acne prone skin, and it feels oily on my skin but the formula is good. Trying to find the suitable sunscreen.
The fixderma sunscreen is exactly like the Suncote Sunscreen by Curatio I was so very dissapointed by it. I thought it would a smooth gel sunscreen but😗
Hi Aboli, could you please recommend some good sunscreens that you found to be helpful? I think our skin type are alike. So it would be helpful if you have already found a sunscreen that suits you. Also, what is your thoughts on minimalist sunscreens? Please do reply 😊.
So gald that someone is there like me who did not like ER sunscreen. It was just shinning on my face and people call it dewy look. It was the worst for me. I would rather wear Neutrogena physical one.
Which sunscreen are you using 🙁 i have oily acne prone skin.. Requil matt sunscreen also broke me out 🙁 photostable gave very weird finish.. I feel nothing suits me.. Which one is your go to sunscreen Aboli..
Hey aboli your recommendation always works for me and as i am also from oily skin type I feel the same for earth rythm sunscreen. Another thing, can you review chemist at play moisturizer for oily skin?
I bought earth rhythm hybrid Sunscreen because it was highly recommended by many oily skin people and I very much regretted it. 3 fingertips was just a mess.
hi aboli , love your videos ! very suprised to see biore on the list ! i agree with its alcohol fragrance and its sticky with 3 fngers rule . but i love it more than others , honestly. i usually top it off with face powder just to get rid of shine. May be you can try that way and see if it works with you .
Love your videos, u saved my skin and prevented a hole in my pocket. Can u please review yuvinie spf30 sunscreen gel, it's soooooo good, my derm gave it for hands but I want to use it on my face because it's the only affordable sunscreen I liked. Many people don't talk about it, but u might actually like it, doesn't have fragrance non comedogenic and absorbs quickly.
Totally agree with the biore one.. extremely greasy and shiny for my oily skin too, and the alcohol smell is disgusting.. wasted my money by buying it 2 times 😐
Even i feel oily shiny after using biore sunscreen..dont know why even i was confused after applying to thank you so much for your review it was helpful wil never buy again
Whenever I use earthrythm sunscreen, I look like I've dipped my face in 5 different oils. I heard so many good reviews from oily skin, But I am so disappointed
Just feels like seeing a reflection of me 😂😂 ...mostttt sunscreens either make me greasy or gives white cast . Photostable , lakme , earth rhythm , azani allll were duds ..
Hey Aboli ! I have been following you since a long time. I really love your content ❤. Your recommendations work really very well for me since I have combination to oily skin. 🙂 Can you make a video on the latest sunscreens which are good for oily skin and silicone free ?
Finally, someone talked about the alcohol smell of biore sunscreen and also the shine.. I was actually wondering how so many people were raving about it.
Hey ... Can you review or recommend whether the l ascorbic acid from Hollywood secrets brand would be as effective as from ordinary l ascorbic acid powder . As in India i can't able to purchase from abroad and to give custom charges . Will you recommend whether Hollywood secrets brand l ascorbic acid should I buy . As i talked to them they said that they didn't added any preservatives , and told it's 100 percent pure L ascorbic acid . FDA approved and fssai and can be eaten internally . But I need for serum way not any internally . It would be very grateful and helpful , if you will review it. Please reply
Try fixderma shadow gel spf 30 pa+++ I used it since 5 months and I have acne prone skin and combination too.. Its a creamy gel and will absorb just in 3.seconds 😌 Try it!! Its available everywhere..
