I've bought probably 95% of all my cheap parts for my two wranglers that I've owned from extreme terrain. I have never had something not work or not fit. Not once. Which in of itself is incredible given that normally you have things that just don't work out. But all the parts I have installed on both my wranglers have always worked, sorry for your bad luck.
