As a true Brooklynite (I'm actually FROM here), I refuse to cater to these overpriced gentrifying joints. But, for the record, I tried this place, and wasn't impressed by the pizza regardless of what they throw on top. I'm all for trying things new, but not to the point of overpaying for some novelty.

Oxtail has to be seasoned right and pressure cooked until tender which takes more labor than a chicken slice. We also temd to forget that these businesses have to pay workers, light/gas, rent and produce. The people who own the shop also have to pay bills for their home where they actually live at since they ain't sleeping in the shop. I learned all this by watching family members who owned businesses constantly have to explain themselves to customers who think they open a business to give shit away for wholesale price.

💰 $11 for a slice of pizza 🍕 n I’m from NY $7 max with the oxtail. Especially in Brooklyn when I can go to Flatbush and get literally a platter for $16 with rice n peas cabbage yams and oxtail with a piece of bread 🥖 and eat off it for 2 days of lunch😵 . As flossy carter would say, the price is TGH (to gotdamn high) After writing this I said f@&k it got the pizza cause MOMO getting sturdy and it was delicious 🤤

JL, 90 miles up & back from Philly-town, gas, tolls & other travel expenses makes me think that you didn't go to Brooklyn just for Cuts & Slices 'gourmet' $7-11 pizza slices! In Bed-stuy is Golden Krust Caribbean takeout for your ox-tails! So, buy a normal cheese pizza & load it up with ox-tails! $70 plus for 7 slices makes me think it's not HOOD dope👎 Rústica Pizzaria on Girard is Philly-towns best example of 'gourmet' topped pizzas! That Doc's huge cheese steak you ate 2 weeks ago was only $10, right🙀 Also, there are loads of neighborhood pizzarias in Brooklyn selling great slices at $3! God Bless🙏
