Why didn't the priest use fade? You can do that once. I usually raided as resto druid. Fade is pretty OP. But I raided as every healer. You pop fade and don't heal until mobs are picked up. That is priest 101. If the tank dies that is his fault for not tanking. My plan as a druid was warstomp for trash. It worked on trash mobs. If it was a boss fight I'd just die. Barkskin and bear was useless. I'd get one shot anyway. If it didn't one shot me I could heal it as tree.

@@Nyilith Yep it depends on the situation. Some players run when they should stay and fight, and some players stay and fight when they should run.

@@Nyilith Than maybe he shouldn't say "always". Stand your ground if that's the best chance of survival and run if it isn't. Problem is it's not easy to rationally make that decision in the moment.

Yes always stand your ground as a warrior while leveling. If you run you will aggro mobs as he said in the video. Second situation was a lot different.

The only hardcore servers are PvE.

Yea, that guy had all of a second to live. Unless the Healer was a Paladin there ain't shit they can do that would have actually saved that. And even then LoH/Shock could easily have been on CD. Fucking threat management people, it's the only thing a DPS needs to do beside zugging. If you are above 60 you are in the danger zone.

I feared this badly too but now have people add me as a friend to do dungeons as their healer and it’s probably the best compliment I’ve received haha

Playing a healer is for those who want to see masks fall off and see the real humans underneath. You'll learn who your real friends are as a healer and who's secretly taking the game too seriously, wouldn't trade healing for the world. Going into a HC dungeon is asking for someone to delete their toon only fools go into that kind of danger and expect everything to always turn up crystal clear. HC dungeons are about the thrill and knowing your gonna die any minute and start back at level 1 like the good ole OSR D&D days.

Been watching it for ages on guzu's channel. For all the people saying how easy it is go try and see for yourself :D TL:DR its not no ezmode autorun through zones. None of that BS u can die at any time

@@Jabarri74 Before trying to play on hardcore, I thought it would be difficult, but not as much as it is, it's another experience playing, you can't be careful, I already lost 2 characters and I didn't even reach level 20, I'm on my third now, but I confess that even having died these times, it's fun, I don't know how to explain what it is, but every thing you do is very important, will you hit 1 mob? look around to see that no others will attack you, will you go into caves? be very careful because it is very dangerous, every upgrade item is a victory, profession is even more important playing in hardcore, it is a mix of many things that makes this experience good, just playing to feel it.

​@Fourside maybe some people don't like using shortcuts and keybinds? Maybe they don't care? Maybe they don't know, very few people actually look into control settings

@@JJJBunney001 there are some reasons to not use keybinds, handicaps and such. not using them because "you dont like them" is a pretty bad argument considering how much worse it makes you at the game (you cant move your camera mid fight for example, because ur using the cursor to click abilitys, and many more movement related reasons) i give it to you that some people just dont care and thats ok, they just suck at the game and thats ok aswell. still im in my right to make fun of those scrubs

you gotta play 100% of the time with people if it's a 2 or 3some people have jobs lol

doing a duo or trio is an option, but most people are turned off by 3 things: your life is tied to the other member's lives so if 1 dies then all must delete. trying to find the time to get everyone on at once is hard (and its required that they are all on and in the same zone at all times) lastly, there are some that think grouping isnt in the spirit of the challenge

@@TheBucketSkill And is farming grey mobs until 60 exciting? Besides, you have ways to escape a bad situation in dungeons if you're not a tank or a healer (even as them later on), and the gear in there can help you go much faster.

well also that particular wall he walked on was right next to the 45 elite for the badlands quest, you just can't be in that spot as a level 40 warrior, asmon was correct there

@MellonVegan this was almost not an option back in OG retail. Sure hybrid players who had some skills were great yet it was situational at the time which I believe the 70s heroics are and under done bit of content that sadly was a waste because there were so many raids available at the time.
