Which one of the two do you think performed better? Are they pretty similar? Maybe the wheelbase needs to be significantly longer to make a more noticeable difference. Both rigs running on the same 2s 1500mah lithium ion batteries.

Looks good, that suspension is pretty good for a stock car. Kit even for one under $120. I would not change to oil-filled shocks. But all in all, good crawler, can't wait to get one!

Did you notice any difference in tyres between the two rigs? Someone else made the point that the C44 has softer sidewalls than the tyres on the C34 - and I ordered some alloy rim replacements to the oe ones, and the tyres they came with were indeed firmer than the oe C44 ones.

both the tires on these seem so close i really have a hard time telling the difference. maybe the C44KM tires are a little bit stickier but about the same softness.

yes it is. The C24KM versions also comes with the new metal axles and u jount so it has the same angles as these now. I believe all the KM version WPLs have these new steering angle upgrades.

How do the wheels mount on these vehicles? Is there something like a 12mm hex or is it friction fit once you tighten the screw to hold the wheel on? Thanks for your time

it's a 5mm hex. they make adapters to convert to 12mm if you want to run huge wheels.

You said it uses 2 speed gearbox and you put some link in your video description. However, as far as I know, 2 speed gearbox has low ground clearance (I own it), but in your video, it looks "flat" and have high ground clearance, is it real 2 speed gearbox? Do you have a video without the body? Or do you apply some modifications to mount it higher?

That's a good eye you got there. It is the WPL 2 speed under there. I had to cut the black interior pieces a little to move the gearbox up. It's more flush with the sidesteps and sure increases the breakover performance. I show it here without the body off though. Starts at 4:20 if you want to check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_qIw-XczAss.html I will have a C44KM updated video and that will detail what i cut and how I moved the gearbox up. It's the same process for both.

How is it one of them has a longer wheelbase? Are they not the same chassis?

yes they are the same chassis but the suspension links to the axles are setup longer for a longer wheelbase on C44.

I didnt know that mn99 electronic has drag break i tried mine and it has a drag brake and i upgraded metal driveshaft

I don't think the mn99 has a drag brake. It has kind of a decent control or something is hanging up.

If I try to reverse it breaks and if I redo the reverse it's reversing the car

No, it's different WPL c34km &c c44km in this vid are metall kits MN 45 is another car & mn d90 defender different to. mn45 & mn d90 full plastik & little different sizes

They are two different brands but the mn model does copy the WPL and you can use some WPL upgrades to mod a mn model.

no it is factory stock. The original plastic gears in the 2 speed are definitely durable enough. The blue c34km has a aftermarket metal upgrade gears but it's not necessary in my opinion. I have a brushless setup on one of the plastic 2 speeds with no issues yet.
