Hello Everyone! I cannot believe that this is my final wrap up of 2023. I read so many amazing books last year, and December gave me 3 of my top 10! So, get ready for me to tell you about a very eclectic reading month, full of books that I cannot wait for you to read. Let’s get started.

I just bought a special anniversary edition of The Last Unicorn because it was my favourite animated film as a kid and I hadn't even realised it was a book. Also the rest of your December reads are now on my TBR.

I read somewhere that The Last Unicorn was getting a sequel. I feel like it was a few years ago, though. I think he had to fight for years and years to get the rights back.

Great selection of books in your wrap up. My best books so far in January are North Woods How To Build A Boat by Elaine Feeny Tom Lake by Ann Patchett Falling Animals I have also enjoyed the series Love in O’Leary by May Archer ☘️👋🍀🇮🇪📚📖☕️📕

I am also a talker. 😅 Thanks for the suggestions. I've added a couple to my TBR and I might go ahead and check out the Murderbot Diaries series as soon as I'm done with my current read. I think my husband suggested that one, too.

So glad you loved “Day.” It is a beautifully written novel. Have you read “Baumgartner” by Paul Auster? I highly recommend.

I have not … Auster and I have a hit or miss relationship. I will take a look for Baumgartner … I think I saw it at the bookstore the other day.

Well... I guess I need to get my hands on The English Understand Wool. The first book I remember being obesessssssed with when I was in middle school was The Face On the Milk Carton. So give me a literary grown up version of that to recapture that feeling! Love it.

I just picked up the first three Murderbot books this week, and am about to start the first one. I have Day on my TBR and need to pick it up. Sounds like you had a great reading December. Doesn't December feel like it was a 100 years ago?
