Yh I got my innate for arm done it was a breeze the only thing like u said biting my lip was the white ink on my wrist other than that easy that was my first tattoo aswell
I got my arms, chest, back, and one leg sleeve. For some reason. The wrist closest to my palm was a 8 it could have just been the artist but it was by the worst to me personally, then my kneecap
I agree 💯 I have a lot on both arms, both of my wrist areas are completely covered all the way around and both solid black. The inner wrist up to your hand is extremely spicy and painful when deep shading, but….. the outsides of the wrist for me is the most excruciating pain I’ve felt during a tattoo. My inner bicep is done too, and in my opinion was a cakewalk compared to the sides of the wrist. There’s bones under thin skin in those areas and that shit hurt like solid hell. I let him finish those areas, but I told him once he’s done there then I am too, don’t go back into it, move to another area 😂 that’s a plus when getting sleeve work done in one sitting, you can tap in one area for the day and move to a different area lol 🤘
I blacked out my right wrist 13 years ago, 3 inches of solid black. My friend tried holding me down by the end but I was done after 2+ hours of the craziest pain (no numbing cream) I can only compare it to the tattoo I have on my spine. Anything on bone is gonna hurt like hell.
Nah wrist is a 4 or 3, 8nner elbow area and inner upper arm by your armpit is a 6. Chest area over sternum is an 8, ribs are a 9, top of foot and heel are a 8-9, hip are a 9-10, back of neck is like a 7, and it depends on where you get it on your back so you should would be like a 6 with it going up the closer to the ribs it is. Thigh is like a 6. Shin bone is a 9. Of course this is my personal opinion. I have detailed black and white art covering about 45% of my body at this point minus the neck up and my hands. I have to stay professional for my job
i got my first tattoo when i turned 18, a big piece right on the center of my chest. i also got my forearm done and it didn’t really hurt until it started getting to my wrist. do chest next i wanna see the comparison😂
As a person that has a forearm sleeve, it really just depends on what part of the wrist, if it’s on the bone it’s gonna hurt like hell, if it’s just the skin it’s like getting a scratch
As someone who got my sleeve finished yesterday I’d say the tendon on the wrist is the worst not shading but I got a line pulled strait up it and started sweating pretty good
The inside of my wrist was a 9 /10 . I have a tat starting from my wrist up to the upper inside of my elbow. My tat session was 3hrs. Once the wrist was done, the rest of the tat was cakewalk.
I have a full sleeve and I’d say inner bicep and inner elbow was the most painful. Closer you get to the armpit and elbow the more it’ll hurt for most. But trust me, getting a tattoo is not quite as bad as you think it’ll be.
I have few tattoos on my legs, one on my upper arm and one on my wrist. Wrist one was definitely the most panitful but it wasn't the kind of pain you couldn't survive, for now I'd rate it 7/10.
First tattoo started at the wrist and went up to the ditch. The ditch was definitely the worse spot. For the wrist, there was only one brief moment that sucked. I'd say the worst pain I've experienced so far was up near the armpit and one piece that I have on the blade of my forearm, though I suspect that one hurt most because it's a lot of blue and the artist reaaaalllly had to work it in. Wrist: 5/10 Ditch: 6.5/10 Armpit: 8/10 Super vibrant and massive blue tattoo right on a boney spot: All of the pain/10 All worth it though.
I just got my first tattoo last night and it was a wrist tattoo, it didn’t really hurt that much just a few shots of pain when doing the area closest to my wrist, but the pain also determines how well your skin takes the ink, my skin took it well so my artist didn’t have to go over an area multiple times
Just smoke a joint before and wear headphones with a podcast or favorite music while it’s getting done, keep one ear open tho to acknowledge the artist because they might ask questions!!!!
@@countryboy5413 i ended up getting my tat on my wrist and it lowkey hurt but it ranged from the pain of 6-8 constantly but definitely the more i didn’t look at it or listen to it it hurt less, but the more i looked and listened it hurt more
It varies from person to person and one place you find really painful might not be as much to another or if you find one spot like quite quick easy no pain it might bphirt more or less on someone else
Arms in general are not bad until you get into the ditch or armpit. Believe me, it gets 10x worse. Try knee ditch, near the nipple, ribs or lower stomach then talk to us about pain level 😂
I don’t get it. They’ve never bugged me. Neck and out of the arm kinda felt cool because some nerves connect far off so you feel it in odd places. My painful tho. The only time I’ve had pain while getting tattooed was after a 30 min break. Going back into it hurts more than doing it in one go.
My 3 hour wrist tattoo was completely fine. Honestly, was on the verge of sleeping towards the end. Pain was probably a 2 to start with, and then after the three hours it was turning into a 3 or 4. Nothing bad though! It was funny though, I worked myself up in my mind expecting the pain to be bad, and it was my first tattoo so I was nervous if I could sit for that long but 🤷🏻♀️ piece of cake 😅
I’ve a full sleeve, shoulder to hand. I had a few tattoos before I got the sleeve and didn’t find them too bad. (On my back&legs) I was forewarned about the elbow and inside of bicep before I started my sleeve. Neither came close to the pain of the wrist. The inside of the wrist where all nerves and tendons are is excruciating.
yall such babies 😂, 18 year old girl here and for my wrist tattoo i would rate pain 1.5/10. It’s uncomfortable but it’s not like an 8 like some of yall are saying lol
I think it’s different for everyone. And each tattoo has their own specific spot that hurts really bad on each body part there’s always that one spot that hurts more then the rest of the tattoo.
For me it was nothing compared to my elbow, elbow ditch or around the armpit. I give the wrist a 2/10 with 8/10 being the highest number I give when it comes to getting tattooed.
Nah I got one above my knee and because I’m so self confident I was like yea this ain’t gonna be nothing but when he started…… I was dying inside 8/10 for me
I don’t have many tattoos yet but I got arm bands directly around both of my wrists and it barely hurt at all so now I’m feeling confident about my other tattoo ideas
My wrist didn’t truly hurt at all maybe a 2/10 and that’s only because it felt like an annoying tickle that I couldn’t react to. I just closed my eyes and vibed out. The healing was actually worse because it itched like crazy and I knew I couldn’t scratch it.
My first tattoos I got on my ankle and wrist, wasn't bad at all I'd say pain wise a 2 maybe. The only thing that hurt was when my leg got numb from sitting.
Got a couple tats on my forearm and the one on top of my wrist definitely hurt the worst. I’m pretty slim and my bone pops out pretty heavy on the edge of my wrist so when he hit that area I felt it. Still was tolerable though and didn’t stop the whole way through
Most of my lower arm tattoos were from a guy who digs so hard that he scarred my skin in multiple places and multiple tattoos soo.... 8/10 from him and 5/10 everyone else 🤣
Wrist is like a solid 7 when I was thinking about when this dude told me about that it felt like hot razor blades 😅 but if I wasn't thing bout that solid 5 n it was my first tat yesterday
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different I got mine and it just felt like I was getting scratched so I’d say it was a 4 but everyone’s different my 4 could be someone’s 7 or 8
Whaaaat I’d say this the lowest pain level tat. I’d say 1/10, when I got my wrist tats I was wondering when it’ll be done and if they can go over some lines that were to thin. Lmaoooo barely felt the needles. I’m skinny as fuck. You’d think a skinny person with not that much skin in the wrist like me would probably say “that shit hurt” but nah took it like a champ, same as my tat above my kneecap that was 1/10 pain level. The one that absolutely sucked was my stomach tat, that was 8/10, sat through it though and only asked for water every now and then. Did that on an empty stomach (probably shouldn’t have) not once did I say “I need a 5 min break, stop this shit hurts” Honestly I’m craving more ink as we speak 😂
