What a lovely writing retreat! I always love watching writers get together and write/catch up. That bit with the racoon though, Liselle's reaction is mine.

I’m so happy you got to do this, it looked like an incredible time! As far as boring locations go, you could always come to scenic rural Pennsylvania, where the breaks you could take are hikes that only refill your creativity 😉

I went to New Orleans when I was in 7th grade with my Dad and I remember trying alligator! I hated it! 😂 The French Quarter is pretty cool, though! Looks like you had a wonderful time! I’m glad you at least got some writing done. But I hope you’re feeling better! I’m going to watch Liselle’s vlog soon! I love the cool things that Lainey’s husband made! And you got a Tender Beasts sweatshirt. How cool! 😍🥰

This absolutely makes me want to go to New Orleans and go on a swamp tour! Imagine if there was a protected pavilion you could write in in the swamp with gaters and all that everywhere...

LOOOOL those raccoons gave me so much dopamine! haha and thank you! It was hard cobbling everything together-i didn't think I would have enough footage but I was okay! And the river boat was definitely one of my favorite parts. So chill and relaxing.

I've been to New Orleans once and I cannot imagine going there for a writing retreat. There is so much to do in that city that I would get the urge to be out everyday lol

I had a miniature crocodile, his name was Charlie. My grandmother went down there to get one from her cousin's farm. They used to breed them. Sadly, they are no longer with us This was back in the seventies.
