This is an interesting take- not only does this serve as a world study, but also a character one. Seeing Geralt’s impression of the Tribes gives us another level of familiarity with him. It’s an impressive format, and I look forward to more.
God… YES!!! I love this!! The narrative ties, Geralt taking his time with the garou to learn about them… it’s just perfect!! (I can perfectly picture this as a book made by Geralt) I hope to see more crossover videos like this (maybe Ciri and Cyberpunk, maybe Yennefer and the Awakened from MtA) Who would do a good narrator for the kindred? (Already did for the WoD ones, maybe do the ones in CoD ones to make them different)
glass walkers maybe have a lot of enemies in the Garou tribes who dont understand them but they are actually the most effective when it comes to fight the Wyrm in particular vs. Pentex, Glass walkers have strong control over technology and can blend easilly in urban environs and among humans, Pentex considers the glass walkers the most formidable enemy among the tribes, The only tribe the Glass walkers have a good relationship with are the Bone Gnawers, who are also much ostracized by the tribes.
And Uktena, being the wyrm lovers they are, are the only other non-Wyld focused tribe, at least that I remember The goals of the Uktena now is gaining more occult resources and spreading to other colonized peoples to collect their occult niches. They would probably hate some of the Glasswalker camps for the "Second War of Rage", but others like Warders of Men or the ones who make urban gardens might catch on well

He's a monster hunter though he'd fit in the vigil gameline not reckoning witchers could fit in as linear sorcerer knights from poland ironically the templars in WOD are in their position a relic from the old order of reason distrusted by mages, abandoned by church and state sponsors, hated by monsters but still willing to protect mankind.
Great work, dude... Very thorough and consistent lore for each world being weaved together in way that makes more sense than the weird nonsense WoD has adopted in the last fifteen years. I would love to hear what Geralt thinks about Changelings. Long formats are generally better, as they cover far more and don't cut off content just because normies wouldn't be interested in it. Normies don't enjoy this stuff, anyway, so aim for the audience you want. You just got a new subscriber. Thanks for all the hard work, man... This must've been quite a lot of effort to finish.
If the monster directly harms humans he goes for the kill even if they live in a masquerade as a civilian so really it depends on the changeling i think he would show mercy to victims of kidnapping but the true fae oh boy he must really hate em.

Great video! I admit, im still on the fence about ai generated voices and art. But I do like that you are utilizing the two to bring more attention too the World of Darkness universe. I just started a Werewolf the Apocalypse campaign with a few others last week, and this has helped me and a few others to get a basic overview of the garou in general. I'm looking forward too more!
Appreciate it! The main reason I started making these was so i had easy ways of teaching newer players about the world. A lot of the books have the lore very spread out and its hard to digest for newer players. These help a lot.
This was really well done. I was hesitant of listening to Geralt describe WoD lore, but the more I listened the more I got into it. Some of the visuals you chose were also perfect (which I don't often say in regards to AI art). Genuinely this is one of the better (and more organized) explanations I've seen of WtA. I hope your channel continues to grow with subscribers, in views, and expand in what it can offer to fans. I'd honestly love to see what you could do with Chronicles of Darkness Lore at some point, especially Werewolf The Forsaken, Vampire The Requiem, Mage The Awakening, and Hunter The Vigil, and making lore videos with this same style. Either way you've earned a subscribed and I'm definitely gonna be sharing this channel with all of my friends.
Honestly, Geralt's voice is perfect for a narrator AI due to how matter of fact his VA portrayed him across the Witcher games even when speaking of wondrous things. Doubly so given your great script and framing device for this WtA lore explanation. Thank you.

@kamudo999 Sorry, I forgot that was an inside joke. When I played a lot, our running explanation for why Changlings weren't really mentioned was that everyone was terrified of even mentioning them.
This is truly superb. I have been struggling with getting inti WtA a lot. This helped me understand a lot of stuff and nuance the system and lore has to offer! Btw, are you maybe planning on doing such for Mage and Changling too?
@@masteroftheassassins Not gonna lie I thought it was him to, but this is still amazing. I know fanfiction is usually ridiculed but I would love to see a story with either Garou going to the Witcher world or as in this case Geralt or Ciri coming to the modern day and meeting the Garou.
That was an enjoyable experience. It was nice to have so many nuggets of lore wrapped into a fairly short telling. While I was familiar with a handful of them, there was plenty new tidbits for me.
Excellent video! Really loving the idea of planar accidents of having famous/infamous icons of legend and lore dropping by the World of Darkness. Only one thing I'm curious now. What tribe was Geralt hanging out with Moon Song telling him the tales and history of the Garou? Personally I was suspecting Moon Song to be either Child of Gaia or even the Silent Striders. For some chuckling reason, I could not help but think that Geralt and Moon Song shared more than just stories and knowledge about each other's worlds after seeing some of those images presented.

I love the length of this and the way it is told. I would love a story about a mysterious Brujah that somehow is surviving contact with the sun and is known throughout the final nights as Blade, the Daywalker. It would also be kind of interesting to know how Geralt's journey through the world of darkness continues.
I like the way you did the video i hope you go into far greater detail on each tribe and delve deeper into lore to the point where you are then forced to say fan based lore starts at this point. and then continue i love hearing about the various world of darkness games and this one sounds like it is going to be a blast.

This is amazing Is it actually Geralt from Witcher narrating? I read that the studio behind the Witcher might be adapting the World of Darkness as well. Is there an actual connection between the franchises btw?
I think there is no better person to be a chronicler for the lives of those creatures that actually do not seek the death of humanity other than gerald the witcher. He is one who himself is bound between the 2 points of monster and man. So who is better to be the chronicler of those who are monster and man than him. He is able to have an objective utterly unbiased mindset of this because he is witnessing a different version of the very concept of his own people except they are werewolves not witchers
according to the white howler tribe book there is a supposedly long dead supposedly dead, WHite howler hero from the ice age who is said to be sleeping under tons of ice somewhere in greenland, or antartica. My view from his write up, the White howler sleeping hero is a white howler 4th generation Gangrel methusalah. possibly Gangrel's avatar. be interesting if the white howler hero wakes up and sees what his tribe has become.
@@TerrilliumV unfortunately I love the red talons and them leaving the Garu Nation as the tribe to fall to the wild id enjoy that. And GlassWalkers need to fall to the weaver those make more sense
@@TerrilliumV and it's fallen in a way they are still playable but there is more political intrege which werewolf is lacking and W5 isn't doing anything to make better. And if you don't want more politics in your werewolf game then it's very easy to ignore. Unlike Gets that will probably be its own book to release to make them.
