WTF IS THIS NEW HEARTHSTONE EXPANSION 

Before you go nuts on the "I can put X class cards into my Y class deck", the Tourist cards only grant you access to the Perils in Paradise cards for that class. So it's not like you could build a Highlander Warrior with Rheastrasa or add Deepminer Brann to a Highlander Hunter.

Some points about the Tourists: 1) They only go one way and only one step. Meaning that you can't include Hunter cards in your Warrior deck and you can't leapfrog from Warrior to Druid to Mage. 2) The cost to use these is adding a Legendary to your deck. Not only does the Legendary take up a card slot, you also need to _have_ that Legendary to even do this. So either get lucky, spend 1600 dust or ready your credit card if you want to try all the combinations. You should very much save your dust until you know which Tourists will be worth crafting, not only due to meta concerns but also with the cards you have. 3) Tourists only grant access to the Perils in Paradise cards. You don't get additional excavate cards for your deck, you don't get additional Highlander cards from other classes, and you can't build a Warrior deck with the Hunter Hero Power (unless you stick to neutrals and PiP cards). This is especially important for Wild.

Worst art direction and theme I've ever seen and I've been playing since beta. Tourists seem like an extra anti-consumer remix of dual-class. Might take a whole season break for the first time in at least 5 years.

I don't like the tourist thing. It's dual class locked behind 1600 dust. I'd rather they made every class dual class this expansion. Would that be harder theme wise? Probably. Would it be much more ftp friendly? Yes

Doesn’t the legendary dude NOT give you the one you pick? Like the text says that you choose one you don’t want, and get the other three shuffled into your deck. So it’s not even a 10 mana draw 3 change to 0. Isn’t this like one of the worst cards I’ve seen??? It does absolute shit when placed, garbage stat line, and does not guarantee you the good affects. Like wtf am I missing something?

I feel like Weapons Attendant got forgotten too fast, almost like people forgot that big weapons exist in the game. Is it great? No. Can it do stuff in a deck only running 2-3 huge weapons? Yes. Do you want to run those weapons? No, that's why you forgot about them, but we'll see.

the tourist mechanic feels... weird. why not just make multi-class cards? I guess its an extra deck-building restriction, but I'm not sold.

AFK being nerfed seems so strange. We obviously won't know until we play the cards but this looks like a classic example of the team needlessly under powering some cards that don't need it. I always assume with nerfs like these that the devs meta in testing is not hyper aggro meaning they have time to do every broken combination. Make it make sense because I'm so confused.

even totem shaman is an actual viable deck rn... you could maybe brew up an odd shaman with the spell dmg kit and the 1 mana weapon, but unfortunately the elemental that gives your hero windfury is a 4 drop so cant go w baku.

Afkay gives +2/+2 but the video shows +3/+3. They didn't record a new video for the announcement. Also her lack of attack means she gets attacked down so fast. Lol

I have a bad feeling about Druid with mage but then again people always get a bad feeling about Druid every expansion. We also have 2 Druid classes now

i rly dont like the style of the new cards they look all so friendly and do wacky stuff i dont want to burn them out with spells and make my spells cost less to combo otk some ppl just give me big dudes that i can smash into the enemys face for example warrier dw is my favorite card its a bignt dude that smashes into everything and then he comes for u the next turn

How would death knight rune cards work for warlock?

AFK is probably going to break paladin. Handbuff paladin is already a solid t1 deck, and afk with +3/+3 (which is going to be average if she's in the opening hand) means that she turns into a 5 mana 3/8 that essentially gives every minion you summon +2/+2 so long as they don't have rush. Combine that with the titan that only takes 2 damage at a time? Busted. Paladin also has the 4 mana 3/3 that draws 2 if it didn't attack. Getting your draw engine outside of the common "deal 3" removal range is kinda nuts. Everyone is undervaluing A F Kay. She seems really slow, but she's absolutely busted in a couple of decks.

The tourist keyword doesn't look exciting for me. It doesn't really change how the game is played and since it can only be used with cards from this expansion, the future applications of the cards are limited. The keyword is essentially dual color with extra steps, just adding a few more cards to the class card pool. They could have reflavored the expansion as Allies or something and just made the class cards dual colors. Battlecry, deathrattle, and even joust are mechanics that can't be replicated with a likewise simple change in card formatting. Joust was terrible but it was more interesting to me as a mechanic than this. I still hope for some really cool cards but I'm not a huge fan of the keyword.

Hiking Trails is probably bad even at 2 mana. They've done 1 mana discover a taunt like 50 times in Warrior at this point and it has always been bad so why would 3 mana slowly discover 3 taunts be remotely playable?
