@LoneTM not as tall or a third generation wrestler like Orton and not as strong as the others. Shelton should have been WWE champion before Bobby, Kofi, or Big E. Sadly, he was saddled as a tag-team guy from OVW into WWE.
Shelton lack charisma and that is very important for a World or WWE Champion. Cena didn’t had the skill of Shelton but his charisma was why he was at the top for years. Orton had both actually. Batista and Brock got to be what Vince liked in a wrestler and that helped their career. Still Batista was superior to Brock because of his mic skills.
@Bruno Castro while you made some good points, I can tell you don't know anything about OVW Shelton. Brock and Rodney Mack were put with Shelton because he had the charisma and talent while they were just big. Shelton could have been huge if he were used correctly. A few lame gimmicks, no solid direction, and mediocre storylines aren't going to get you far. Could he have done more? Sure; could creative have done more for him? Absolutely.
@@jason.waterfalls33 I’m talking in WWE, in the big game. Shelton made amazing performances in some matches but the only time he had a good use was the feud with Triple H. After that he simply disappear. I cannot remember basicaly anything (Also remember his mom to be his manager but that is also not a good thing) and to be honest if it wasn’t for Triple H and Flair to be in that feud probably we wouldn’t remember that even if Shelton made some good match performances.

These models look pretty neat, faces look accurate. But I can't help but feel like Brock's physique looks way smaller than it was in real life than at the time. Maybe it's to really make the difference between present day Brock and past Brock more noticeable, but yeah it kinda doesn't give justice on how beastly young Brock looked back then. Wish too they included another model for Randy and Batista as well outside the DLC, especially with present-day Batista already being bald like Leviathan, it would had been nice to get 2005 iterations of Batista and Randy.
The faces look accurate, what are you on? Randy Orton '02 looks old as fuck. The modders in WWE2K22 did a better job giving us retro Orton with his younger face imported from past games.
I agree that 2005 variations of Randy of Batista would’ve been dope to see, especially since the game has more Ruthless Aggression Era superstars and arenas than before, a few more variations would’ve been cool. When it comes to Brock 01’, while the more than likely scaled him down to show a difference between him and modern day Brock, unless it’s just me he looks accurate cuz of how he looked in OVW and in the dark matches he had in late 01’- early 02’

I’d get the pack solely for classic Orton. I remember playing as Rookie Orton all the way through Smackdown Shut Your Mouth building him to be a main event star. True fun
I mean there's obviously a few minor issues with Orton doing his Orton pose at the end of his match and Byron calling him The Viper. As for Cena the ProtoBomb was his finisher but it was what this game refers to as the Protoplex. The Protobomb here is the AA/FU which he developed against Lesnar during their initial main roster feud. Side note... I'm sure Jawney is excited to see the Overdrive in this game.
They should've had a young Shelton Benjamin with hair (and his better "Ain't No Stoppin' Me" solo theme) to team up with Brock Lesnar '02 to form the Minnesota Stretching/Wrecking Crew with.

I feel like every new WWE game the ring looks smaller and smaller so the movement looks limited I remember being able to fit loads of weapons in the ring now it seems like there’s not much space

Just purchased it, as a plus pack. When i want to buy the Icon Edition, my wallet was not enough. So i bought it today and felt really happy with it, even thought i haven't load it yet. Feels so much better compared to the NWO edition, and in 2k23 we got the whole NWO version anyway.
So excited to play WWE 2K23 AFTER work today on the PS5 I just hope this game doesn't have any bugs or anything like WWE2K20 Never touched the game since it kept giving me problems
I have the DLC and I have 2 things to say: 1. This is more of a “OVW Pack” than a “Ruthless Aggression Pack”. 2. John Cena’s Slam Smack song is in the Custom Victory creator, but not the Custom Entrance creator. They might need to fix that something.
Is this pack even worth getting why tf are they rated so low? Like Doink the clown is rated higher than them. Shouldn’t I just download them from community creations?

He didn't become the "Legend Killer" with the "Burn in My Light" theme by Mercy Drive (which Randy Orton personally hates) until he beat [redacted] for the World Heavyweight Championship at the 2004 Summerslam & was swiftly kicked out of Evolution the night after.

Some of these aren’t too bad. But what would happen if there was a survivor series traditional elimination tag between these 4 from OVW to their prime selves but their OVW version are exactly like them in their prime (in terms of ability in the ring).

Wait a minute, when Prototype Cena fights Leviathan Batista near the end, Batista looks huge, almost like 7 feet tall making Cena seem small. Is that how they really compare?
I wonder where that Rey Mysterio render from the Mania 22 arena is used. So far only modern Rey and WCW Rey are confirmed. Would be nice to get a '02/'03 version of him as well. MyCrapshion maybe? Also that Orton render next to him makes no sense, since that's Viper Randy (probably from Showcase??). I hope we can use the '02 Smackdown and Raw graphics in universe unlike last year...
It’s a cool pack but I feel the name is a bit misleading. Imo they shoulda either give the fans what they actually want - evolution versions of Orion and Batista- along with maybe Shelton, Hollywood Rock, Mysterio, Edge or Deadman Taker. Or fully commit by calling the pack OVW and including the OVW arena, still a pretty good pack tho.
