We continue our WWII Small Arms Series. Jeremiah and Mike Venturino discuss the history, care, loading and shooting these old WWII small arms. this episode features the Japanese Lewis Gun.
"If I give you money, will you buy machine guns?" Now THAT's a wife! You're a lucky man, Mike. This has been an excellent video series, I've enjoyed it immensely, thanks much Mike and Jeremiah.
It is amazing how much I learned from our time up there with Mike he is a wealth of knowledge and genuinely a nice guy! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
This series has been very interesting. I did not know the Japanese copied the Lewis. Kudos and accolades to Mr. Venturino for sharing his museum quality collection. After this series is completed maybe Jeremiah could do a video of how Mr. Venturino casts and loads big match bullets for BPCR. If not him then maybe how Dave Gullo casts his match bullets.
Thank you so much for the kind words and the feedback it was a lot of fun to put these videos together and it's always nice to hear that others enjoy them as well. For some reason RU-vid does not like bullet casting we used to have a bullet casting 101 video up on RU-vid but for some reason they took it down and would not let us repost it. Hopefully at some point in the future that will change but until then our hands are sadly tied. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
Venturino, "Blah, blah, blah....". Jeremiah, "Really? Interesting? Very interesting, Oh Ok". Funny. Great books by Venturino, great videos by Jeremiah. As an owner of several WW2 firearms, I have enjoyed this video series very much. Mr. Venturino's most accurate comment was how much he enjoyed sharinghis Class 3 firearms. Watching others enjoy is one of the great perks of owning such martial arms. Keep 'em coming.
We will certainly keep them coming I think we have at least 6 more episodes in this series and hopefully if time permits we'll be able to do some lever action videos with Mike as well. Thanks for watching and the feedback we greatly appreciate it! --Jeremiah
I wish more details even generalities on operation of the Lewis gun had been discussed. But I have enjoyed Mike's article for years and years fun to see him "live" here. Oh and Mike - you married VERY VERY WEll!! As a good friend used to tell me " man, you overmarried" ! Keep up the good work.
We filmed all of these episodes in the span of one week, there is so much more I would have loved to cover and Mike was wealth of information! We had a wonderful time though and are very glad that others enjoy this series. Thank you for your support and kind words. --Jeremiah
He was gracious enough to just fix it without making me buy another one, they are very solid targets but I certainly tortured them in this series! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
Indeed, she was very hospitable while we were visiting and it was a joy and pleasure to get to be up there with such good folks. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
Indeed it does, especially given that surplus 303 is not as easy to find as it once was. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
