I used to have all of the episodes on VHS, but the tape snapped, now I remember, there was also a show called classic plant which examined the history of earthmoving equipment and the like. Those were the days.
Classic Trucks was a documentary series broadcast on Channel 4 in 1995, looking into the history of commercial vehicles. John Peel was the narrator of the series. Episodes MONSTERS (14/02/1995) EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY (07/02/1995) DOOR TO DOOR (31/01/1995) TICKET TO RIDE (24/01/1995) SPARKS FLY (17/01/1995) AMERICAN GIANTS (10/01/1995)
I think this is from the old series "Classic Trucks" episode 6,"monsters" which begins with a Cat 789 then moves onto heavy haulage. I am pretty sure that is where this is from but can't find the series anywhere. A Pickfords clip elsewhere is also from the same episode too. This program was on in the 90's.
