I love how Wynonna pays tribute to Tammy Wynette (the Queen of Country Music) in this song and others. Two great, beautiful singers. Gotta love them both. Thank you for posting. Love this video.
In all honesty 💖 If my song were covered by the Wynona Judd; I'd be so touched and honored. Let's just be unobtrusive enough to accept her excellent taste in music
Her hair, her beauty! She is beautiful! But is it just me? Or does miss wynonna have a cool sounding voice? There are many talented musicians with equally beautiful voices, but I have too say to me wynonna just has a cool sounding voice! Plus! I kinda like her hur! 😊👍💜 go miss wynonna
My goodness, where have I been? This is a beautiful remake of Tammy's song Woman to Woman. I have always loved Tammy's recording, played it tonight... then I saw Wynonna recoreded also....just had to listen. (She's forgotten more about a man than your sweet lovin mama ever told you") Woman to Woman......Excellent recording by Wynonna and a great acknowledgement to the queen of country, Tammy Wynette
Yes, that was the very first version I learned, my mother was a huge fan of Tammy Wynette. I think in that time, as Loretta's "The Pill" song, those songs didnt get air play, only heard if you bought the album!
I grew up in a household of mostly R&B, blues and soul music....she was one of the few country music artist that was always included in our musical rotation. Good music and amazing vocalist transcend the rigid bounds of genre distinction. Wynona ranks right up there with Aretha and Patti Labelle in my book.
OH my Goodness... I love this song this is the first time I am hearing her version!! I have been missing out all this time!! well I now have it on my playlist !!!!! Thank you!
Tammy was a beautiful lady, probably the most beautiful of any female singer ever in my opinion anyway. If you seen her before she died she was so sickly and poor thing died young to, was a great loss.
no disrespect to wynonna judd; but it is a shame that this tammy wynette song had to be redone to get any notice. but i'm glad wynonna did it. shows some respect for tammy.
I have to agree with Tammys boyable. I don't think anyone could do this one better than Tammy Wynette. But Wynonna did a good job and she showed respect by not changing any of the lyrics and getting all stupid like too many people doing covers do. She did the song justice. I also agree with ReasonableNotion. Wynonna does have one of those one of a kind voices. Very soulful. If anyone hasn't heard No One Else on Earth, they should. That's soulful to the max. With True Love in 1994 & Always in 1997, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa sings both versions in "Always: A Tribute to Patsy Cline" (11/7/2003) for Angel Classics under Universal Music, she enjoys singing very well. But 1998's Tammy Wynette: Remembered, you can enjoy the same thing.
cause shes out there too! and shes a whole lot better looking than me and u, and knows more about a man than your sweet mother ever told u! I'm singing to u woman to woman heart to heart! IM SINGING STRAIGHT TO U! WOMAN TO WOMAN! RIGHT FROM MY HEART! AND U CAN TAKE OR LEAVE OH BUT ITS TRUE WOMAN TO WOMAN! FROM ME TO YOU! BAD ASS SONG!
This Video is about honoring another Womans talent. When is the goofy competion crap between women going to stop. Thanks for the awesome video for Tammy Y I get it.
Wy You Nailed this one, love it alot !!! someday i will meet you in person !!! been a fan for 15 years and counting !!! love you, your my Shero !!!! love susie Faulkner Visalia California
Wynonna has the best female vocals i've ever heard and l saw her at the the london palladium which confirmed it, no lipsinking and all this modern overated crap singers and players earning ridiculous amounts of money from people who dont really no what there listening to, its just the kings new clothes and minions.
56 right? An anuerism (sp?) I think. I kinda thought she didn't get over that cold when I heard she took ill. The backup and music was extremely loud to give her cover, but I was just glad to be in touch with, through her, in a sense, with all the greats of country she had met and known. Thanks for your comment.
