WYRMS, PLANTS, TWO NEW MAXIMUMS!? | Rush Duel Links Mini Box Review! 

Plants look like they could be fun, catch some people off guard. Not much wyrm support. Most likely a super mini within a month I’m assuming.

This box is... special. We're getting cards for 2 new archetypes (Earth Wyrm and Buster Blader), and the third deck (plants) interacts with earth monsters (the 2 decks mentioned before), with a skill that pierces but 2 cards that already flip monsters, so it isn't that much relevant? Wyrms don't have much, there's no effect monsters (not considering maximum), and Buster Blader can't run monsters with 1300 or more atk, except gaias/buster bladers, so monsters with 1200+ defense can't be beaten if it's not attacked by a boss monster. We may be missing something, or we're probably getting a super mini box to help later, but at least we got bean soldier!

1-Someone help konami, they so addict with to 3, gosh, F avian strategy, never will be good 2-ONE TRAP?! SERIOUS KONAMI?!?!?! 3-With no one wants build one of this decks 100% skipped 4-IM RIGHT, RETURING IS COMMING(In my predict i said can come with legend, because come 2 new warrior decks:3) 5-Probaly legendert swordsman will come in life mission, so yeah 3 gaia in engine, this sucks 6-The 2 bosses of asana is in sleeves, but dont leaked, i guess pylon will come in starter deck, like happens with asana, with 1 ppp and 1 Ttt in lvl up 7-CALLED ME CRAZY, BUT THE CRAZE IS YOURS!!!! Next secundary box of rush will bring new cyborgs, AND, every time comes a character in dl who no have new supports, in a secundary box, comes supports(Roa and nail), so yeaaah, Im right, YUO COMES TO DUEL LINKS!!!

Ok, I didn't expect that we already had a Mini-Box, but welcome news. - It seems like Konami has gone big on Plant Deck this time: I mean, they gave them a decent Boss Monster, a decent Skill that can pass Set 3, Effect Monsters with good Effects, and their Backrow remover. Although well, Shadow Flower is not that it lacks many cards yet to be released (they have a lot) - At the same time, Konami knows that Wyrm Deck would be too good if it got all its pieces instantly (the same thing happened with LIGHT Machine Deck: it was mediocre at the beginning, but became strong with proper support). In this case, Wyrm Deck at least has the foundation to be a strong Deck from the start. Something I also noticed is that Wyrm does not have the classic limit to 3 (other than the Maximum version), which means that it has access to things that are limited to 3 (Dragias is back on the menu, ladies and gentlemen) - Also note that both Wyrm and Plant Decks are not limited to 2 (in cards): meaning they can carry Negate Attack (something many Decks will lose access to in the future) - The new Yuga's Maximum has the potential to be annoying when it comes to Burn Damage. We already saw with Noodle Deck how annoying it can be to deal with and Konami ended up killing the Deck. If Magnum Overlord, without its proper support, can be Meta and annoying to deal with, Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan could follow in the same footsteps (but would be fairer than Overlod) - In fact, I'm kind of thankful we haven't gotten Legendary Swordsman - Buster Blader yet: that Boss Monster sounds like an instant powercreep. Buster Blader's Skill would make this Boss Monster go out of control quickly since it is well known that Rush's Duel Links does not yet have the tools to face Boss Monsters with high ATK permanently (in the current Rush Duels, that's easier since you always have a Monster or Spell that destroys Level 8 or lower Monsters) - Something I have noticed is that Konami refuses to give us cards that can draw cards or interrupt the GY. I get it, those Effects could be powerful in Rush's Duel Links, but we can't pretend they never existed. Heavenly Gift is biding its time, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes limited at some point as it would give power to Maximum Decks. In short, looking at the current Meta, where the power scaling is low, I wouldn't be surprised if Wyrm and Plant enter the Meta (especially after receiving Rush's Banlist with the new limitations applied)

I get why boring kong is limit 3 but it's not going to see play because people would rather play 3 of the maximum

I honestly would be more excited if this was a super mini with just Wryms, maximums, and a few plants. After the amazing mini and structure deck from last month Asana’s release is looking very disappointing for one of Sevens most beloved characters.

How much support can shadow flowers expect to get in the future. What they got in this box and their skill are both a bit whelming, which is a shame since I like their look and such.

This box is disappointing I was expecting more wyrm cards, the Buster Blader cards to be a structure deck and Gaia to be a card from the card trader (and not limit 3). Anyway I'm going to try Shadow Flower as plant is my 2nd favourite type after Psychic

No psychics but plants sounds like fun, I don't like big attack beat down decks with linear combos.

I was hoping we get Buster Blader in the form of a structure deck like we had with Blue Eyes, easy and cheap to build. Generally big boxes in Rush have been disappointing in many ways.

Man the summoning animation for the wyrm maximum is cool asf. But why does the middle piece have to be its crotch lmao. Makes me not wanna summon it on its own

IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOX BECAUSE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CARDS IS COMING, BEAST DRIVE MEGA ELEPHANT 🗣‼️‼️ but sadly no barrier beast battlefield

And still no Beast Gear support + field spell card 😢😭

Duel links is really going down the drain, Speed has just released a ultra broken skill, right after the nerf of another ultra giga broken Agent skill. Rush has everything limit 3, it's pathetic. half baked archetypes.

While this box may not be that good competitively, in the ladder its always nice to see new decks being played. Interested to try out plants since they give out the same vibes as Harpies to me for some reason lol. All in all, I guess there are some interesting new ways to play maximums with the new skill so I will just casually play that for now haha

A box this bad makes me think they're holding back for the new world launch in September. It's like they went out of their way with card choices & Limit 3s to release a box that doesn't change the meta one bit.

Card Devastation is pretty much Thunder support to allow for its piercing effect to hit.

very informative review!! As someone who's new to rush, you going over the cards about their viability and hinting on future support cards really helped out alot ❤ I think I'm eyeing on trying to make a plant deck 👀 (I do love their aesthetic, even if they don't seem really strong... 😭)
